Just look at Boxable. They took millions in from investors with the promise of creating affordable housing for the masses. They just sold their first mass production off to an AirBnB resort. In 20 years you will own nothing and all of your income will go to subscriptions. Tesla just announced their robo taxi that they said they priced low so companies could buy fleets of them. More and more private companies are moving in on the utilities industry and are lobbying for laws that prohibit regular people from producing their own electric and gathering their own water. Hardly any stores sell movies on a disk anymore and video game companies are slowly removing disk drives from their consoles. There are food subscriptions, clothing subscriptions, razor and soap subscriptions. It is crazy. My brother in law just moved here from overseas and asked about watching NBA games. After some heavy and confusing research I came to the conclusion that he would only be able to watch games on our local channels (with an over the air antenna) starting in January as the first half of the season is locked out to a number of different streaming services.. You need a Masters degree in media services to understand how to watch which games by which teams on which days on which services.
I wouldn’t pay no more than 50k for these things! But what I love about this video, is that they’re at least telling you the price of these modular homes. All the other modular home videos they don’t tell you the price. Which saves us a trip and being disappointed when you get there! Keep it up guys! However, there are other tiny houses that are in the $50,000 range
This would be a nice paring to a bunker. You install the bunker under the home like a basement and then place the home over the top as needed with a hidden entry point inside the home. It would be a easy choice for people on a budget or get away home.
I've heard that adding a bunker to a house changes into a bunker with a house attached. If true, then what you are saying is a good consideration for new home build design. And I also wonder how a bunker disrupts properties that would otherwise be considered as investment properties. AND also, Ron said something about property taxes. Are bunkers taxed?
34, 22, the little one with 2 lofts/ladies room all stole my heart! Problem is pricing.. this is insanely overpriced... the point of a tiny home is lost when prices are that high or the model is so big like a whole trailer. Here in Ohio I gave 8K for mine, it was a custom built lofted "Playroom Deluxe" Repo and it was 666 sq ft (we added a little on just to change that footage cause it creeped me out lol).but if financed mine would be $330x 48 months $18k total. That's still WAY higher than it used to be in my area. Every time something becomes a "thing" there is always someone there ready to make that big profit. LOVE this channel! Thank you!

Beautiful! I wish my family could afford some sort of tiny home. We have had to live with my parents due to financial hardships with our 4 year old and 3 year old. I’m a stay at home mom (former nurse) due to unforeseen health issues. Maybe one day in the near future ❤
It’s #34 for me. I love the wooden look. We live in a log home now so it’s a cozy feeling. If I had to live alone again this would be something I’d do for sure.

I never see homes were you walk straight into the living room from outside except in US. And almost never á closet for your shoes and jackets clothes near the outdoor. In many countries it's bad manners to walk through peoples homes in your outdoor shoes

I like your videos better than when RRC does them, because we get to see models back to back and without anyone standing in front of the camera. At 8:46, which was home #36 was actually a Clayton model and not a Platinum...for anyone who may be interested in that home and try to find it. The pretty ceiling fan and cabinet color is a dead give a away that it is a Clayton. Thanks Mr. Bunker man for taking us back to RRC again.

That "ladies room" could be used as a practical family closet. Conveniently located next to washer n dryer and im sure with a family of 4 a welcomed space. House # 35.

I like 13,31 and 9's not bad, 36 was nice too. 13 is for me but with more storage and a walk in shower with the half wall and glass. Love the colours they did it in. I love I'm Canada so it would be one $100.000. But l would be happy there. Wish you would show or say how big the lofts are in these homes.
There are aspects of each one that I like, but none that are my dream tiny house. I'd probably mix and match options from the different models. If I had to pick one as is, I'd probably go with #37. Wish they had options with smaller kitchens, I'm not much of a cook so I don't need a big kitchen with lots of counter space and storage!

Hard to say which one I like the most. They're all really nice. Decent prices too. Combine thone of them with one of your bug out shelters and one is almost prepared for the end of civilization.
The features I like the best in kitchen is a galley kitchen, everything convenient and a lot of cabinets. For storage jacket chill bathroom, large shower. When does that open? And of course the porch.
I was talking just today about buying one of these & putting it on cooler property up north. We live in Phoenix. It gets pretty hot here in the summer. This is one of our hottest summers on record. Maybe someday 😌
I have seen tiny homes where the loft you could actually stand up and walk in. I always thought it was ridiculous to have to crawl on your hands and knees into a loft.
I like the last one for the walk in closet with the w/d in it but are there any that you can stand and walk in the loft. From the video it looks like you have to crawl while you are up there.
9:42 this is basically a single wide, its not a mini home. Don't get me wrong I love it. I would definitely want this as my home. I just wish the price was a bit lower. When I think double wide, I think $75k-150k. When I think single wide, I think $50k-75k. When I think mini home, I think $50k-75k. When I think tiny home, I think $15k-50k . However you see it. These manufactured homes are supposed to be affordable. They are not built to last. It should be cheaper to buy these than build a house. To play devils advocate. Yes inflation has multiplied the cost of everything. I get that. However, I have seen new construction selling for as low as $200-250k. That's land and house combined, everything is developed and ready to go. When you factor in land buy, developing the land enough to put these manufactured homes on top of them, permitting, utility setup, plus shipping the house to you. You have to throw on at least $100k in addition to whatever you are paying for these homes. The "mini" homes featured in this video only when as low as $75k. That's $175k cost at the end of the day. Give or take depending on land cost, how far away you are from the manufacture, and local cost and regulations. Not counting land. The absolute cheapest I can estimate for a $75k mini home. Is still $125k.
Yeah, but... these cost the same as 2 full sized houses 10 years ago. I mean dang. 1:39 - $ 108,000 and you don't even have a land/lot with it? I paid less than $50,000 for my house and it came with 40 acres of forest land. What do you buy under 50k now? 😞 These small houses would be fine for 20K, maybe 25 with some land. But over 100k? Insane.
With the building materials, transportation and labor you couldn’t put one of these together for anywhere near 20k even if you had the know how. Inflation isn’t great but it’s reality and business have to make a profit to operate. The price on these is very reasonable for what you get. Don’t go house shopping in any decent area, the sticker price in 2024 will shock you lol
@@TXetc That's the point. Inflation is so crazy, it shouldn't cost more than 25k, but it is 100k+ now. I purchased my house back in 2016 for under 50, yet it worth 200k now... Good thing I bought our home pre-2021. No way that I could afford a house today.

Same with immigration, whether you think it’s good/bad those people have to live somewhere and create demand in housing. I’m disabled we took the stove out of my home put lower counter in now I can sit in my wheelchair (without my knees hitting oven) you can tell ADA never worked with a disabled person ! My home with extra lot 100,000. 2,220. Square feet perfect for multi generational. Living
So, as someone who is not *currently* versed on the property tax square feet thing (will be looking into that now) - I have a question. If you were to place a bunker beneath one of these mini homes, will that then add onto the total square feet or is that a separate thing all together?
Ron I have a question for you. Do your company test the holes for the bunkers for radiation or radon? Like here in Michigan radon is terrible. Just curious. Or do you leave it to the customer to do?

Better visuals of the lofts would have been nice for those of us with kids. To us, those spaces are important, especially the height of them- Can the kids sit up in them to do homework or whatever fun they get into.
I love the one at 6:00! I'll likely be retiring alone and just need a simple little place to live. The only thing I'd change is those bizarre narrow windows in the bedroom - why are they like that, lol? I'd want some nice big windows in there or even better, a sliding door
I figured that one 108,000 ft.² love the floorplan the kitchen big enough to where you can have an island. Spacious living room have more higher or ceilings if it wasn’t for the loft which my condition will allow me to have a loft.

That's if you buy a ready-made tiny house. You can always design and build your own like people originally did. That would still save you money.

this is giving me ideas. combine these houses with an atlas survival shelter and you have one of the best houses on the block with an amazing basement

Hard to say which one I like the most. They're all really nice. Decent prices too. Combine thone of them with one of your bug out shelters and one is almost prepared for the end of civilization.
The features I like the best in kitchen is a galley kitchen, everything convenient and a lot of cabinets. For storage jacket chill bathroom, large shower. When does that open? And of course the porch.
I was talking just today about buying one of these & putting it on cooler property up north. We live in Phoenix. It gets pretty hot here in the summer. This is one of our hottest summers on record. Maybe someday 😌
I have seen tiny homes where the loft you could actually stand up and walk in. I always thought it was ridiculous to have to crawl on your hands and knees into a loft.
It's so they can meet height restrictions in some areas.

9:42 this is basically a single wide, its not a mini home. Don't get me wrong I love it. I would definitely want this as my home. I just wish the price was a bit lower. When I think double wide, I think $75k-150k. When I think single wide, I think $50k-75k. When I think mini home, I think $50k-75k. When I think tiny home, I think $15k-50k . However you see it. These manufactured homes are supposed to be affordable. They are not built to last. It should be cheaper to buy these than build a house. To play devils advocate. Yes inflation has multiplied the cost of everything. I get that. However, I have seen new construction selling for as low as $200-250k. That's land and house combined, everything is developed and ready to go. When you factor in land buy, developing the land enough to put these manufactured homes on top of them, permitting, utility setup, plus shipping the house to you. You have to throw on at least $100k in addition to whatever you are paying for these homes. The "mini" homes featured in this video only when as low as $75k. That's $175k cost at the end of the day. Give or take depending on land cost, how far away you are from the manufacture, and local cost and regulations. Not counting land. The absolute cheapest I can estimate for a $75k mini home. Is still $125k.
Yeah, but... these cost the same as 2 full sized houses 10 years ago. I mean dang. 1:39 - $ 108,000 and you don't even have a land/lot with it? I paid less than $50,000 for my house and it came with 40 acres of forest land. What do you buy under 50k now? 😞 These small houses would be fine for 20K, maybe 25 with some land. But over 100k? Insane.
With the building materials, transportation and labor you couldn’t put one of these together for anywhere near 20k even if you had the know how. Inflation isn’t great but it’s reality and business have to make a profit to operate. The price on these is very reasonable for what you get. Don’t go house shopping in any decent area, the sticker price in 2024 will shock you lol

I purchased my house back in 2016 for under 50, yet it worth 200k now... Good thing I bought our home pre-2021. No way that I could afford a house today.
@@thatmaninblack There is no evidence that inflation is going to do anything but continue to skyrocket no matter how hard they try to manipulate the numbers. Same with immigration, whether you think it’s good/bad those people have to live somewhere and create demand in housing. I may get one of these silly tiny homes on some land for myself and just buy more actual houses for investments. The prices are ridiculous but if renters pay the mortgage 🤷♂️
@@TXetc It's not immigration, it's illegal immigration. About 12 million in 4 years. they are a problem indeed, especially since the taxpayers are funding their housing, and everything else. I'm thinking of getting a shipping container and change it to a garage for my motorcycles, it's still affordable.

Ron I have a question for you. Do your company test the holes for the bunkers for radiation or radon? Like here in Michigan radon is terrible. Just curious. Or do you leave it to the customer to do?

Always go for a under mount sink rather a top mount sink! it makes a big difference in a small space but no one ever thinks about it

Better visuals of the lofts would have been nice for those of us with kids. To us, those spaces are important, especially the height of them- Can the kids sit up in them to do homework or whatever fun they get into.

I figured that one 108,000 ft.² love the floorplan the kitchen big enough to where you can have an island. Spacious living room have more higher or ceilings if it wasn’t for the loft which my condition will allow me to have a loft.
