  • One of the most popular towns we get questions about is Alpharetta, Georgia, but it's neighboring city of Johns Creek is very similar, so which town would be best for you? They both have great schools, great shopping, and a convenient location.

    Just my opinion having moved from LA, CA to Alpharetta in 1993... Johns Creek is more like a cluster mansion extension of Alpharetta. Nice homes but it's kind of like subdivision central. They do have some nice things there though like the Newtown dog park. Amazing free dog park that is well maintained where you can let your hound run. Johns Creek is a very upscale area though.

    Well before 2006 “Johns Creek” was Alpharetta. Where I used to live in Alpharetta is now Johns Creek, the imposter city. 😅

    Do you have any videos where you talk about or mention Rome, Georgia? Just curious.

    Which city is best for retirees near by Johns Creek? Not crowded & have more privacy.

    Hi Sarah, is Cumming similar to either one of these areas?

    • @MovingtoGeorgia
      @MovingtoGeorgia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Anthony, Cumming is a popular alternative to both of these towns because you still have great access to GA400 for commuting, you still have great schools, and you get a bit more house for your money. The downside is that much of Cumming is going to feel a bit more rural than Alpharetta/Johns Creek.

    I live in Johns Creek and I’m sorry but alpharetta is just too crowded. I can go to Avalon if I want, but I prefer Johns Creek.
