So much here to see with Acca Dacca, you won’t be disappointed watching their videos from the early days with Bon Scott to the later years with Brian Johnson. Have been a fan since they started when I was in school in the 70’s and they are still doing!
'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap' was the title of AC/DC's 3rd album in 1976 (The song 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap' is one of AC/DC's most popular) ... Lead guitarist Angus Young said he got the title from a comic strip called "Beanie & Cecil, the sea sick serpent" ... The villain of the strip was a character named 'Dishonest Joe' and he rode a motorbike w/ a sign that said: 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap. Special rates holidays' 😂
AC/DC's original singer Bon Scott who wrote and sang this track was quite a character... He was rejected by the Australian Army as he was deemed "socially maladjusted"... He started singing as a teen and joined a pop group The Valentines in the late 60's... In the early 70's, he fronted a blues rock band called Fraternity... But Bon always seemed to find trouble; by 1972, he had been jailed for assaulting a cop... and he survived a bike accident which ended his run w/ Fraternity.
However, women loved him and the tough guys admired Bon Scott... Despite being only 5' 8" tall, he was ready to throw down and fight if someone provoked him (He got his front teeth busted that way) and he couldn't resist a drink or a hot, blonde woman if offered...
In 1974, Bon Scott was married and working day jobs to make ends meet... He was hired as a driver for AC/DC on a small tour (Bon apparently drove like a maniac) but brothers Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC really liked him (Bon was a Scottish immigrant in Australia like them and he was few years older than them) ... Bon loved AC/DC when he saw them perform live, so when they needed a drummer, he volunteered... When their singer quit in '74, he offered to sing lead and joined AC/DC... However, his infidelities cost him his marriage by 1975 (He still remained close friends w/ his ex-wife Irene)
Bon Scott quickly became a hero to AC/DC fans as the band toured and recorded 6 studio albums by 1979 and built a huge fanbase worldwide... Tragically, Bon Scott died unexpectedly in early 1980... He had gone to the bars one night and after a number of shots, he was offered a ride in a friend's car but he passed out on the way ... His friend decided to let him sleep off the drink in the car and left him there w/ a blanket. The next day, his friend found him in the car unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital... An autopsy revealed that Bon had apparently vomited in the early morning hours and choked to death while passed out.
Bon Scott's death shocked AC/DC fans and devastated the band.
It was at Bon's funeral in Australia that his parents encouraged AC/DC to carry on w/ a new singer... They went back to the UK and hired vocalist Brian Johnson... he would sing Bon Scott's AC/DC songs in concert every night.

Let There Be Rock live at River Plate ❤you will see Angus Young, guitarist, play his most oconic 15 minute solo in the air and every where 😂, there is a different singer in that show though. This singer is Bon Scott who passed away in Feb 1980. Brian Johnson replaced him.❤
