    Cool! I just bought a VUZE XR to make videos for Oculus Quest 2! It's going to be a fun vacation to Las Vegas!

    This video ran really well on my Go; better than videos I've seen done with cameras costing many thousands more. I don't know how much post-production went into it, but that would make a great tutorial itself.

    What if i want to charge it and record at the same time? It seems like 1/4 of the view will be blocked??? If you guys are working on a V2, please put the charge plug on the bottom this time!!! I wanted to use this for Rally racing (by wiring to car for power and swapping SD cards) but at 60min battery life it'd die before the race even starts!!!

    How does it perform in low light? What's the native ISO, if that's what you would call it? What's the target date for Mac based software?

    Whats the frame rate? It looks choppy. Is it adjustable in the unit?

    I've tried watching these vuze 360 recorded 3D videos through my gear VR headset and they are so blurry its pretty much unwatchable. So bad its difficult to make out whats going on! Am I the only one who thinks this? I was intending on purchasing one but having seen the quality I wont be now.

    Hi O/
    We think the quality is very pixy and blurry at 4k. Is that coz of render settings or is this the best quality the camera can produce?

    • @mavfan1
      @mavfan1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's because the "4K" is spread all around in 360 degrees resulting in poor resolution.

    how can i combine a few video shots and music to a single video? i didn't find an adittorial for it. thank you very much, Chen.

      Hi Chen, we use Adobe premiere sometimes and also some other editing aoftwares. Once the video from the Vuze camera is stitched you can export it and further edit in any of your usual/favorite editing software. We're also working to add a feature which will allow you to basically just edit the raw footage in any other software than our own from the get go (we want to make sure our users get the most freedom to create)

    The background audio was way too loud and the presenters audio was way too quiet were too soft. I hope this is viewed as constructive criticism

    360 is not VR(stereoscopic), how do you transform 360 to Stereoscopic? Does this camera do it?

    • @nesherasner9937
      @nesherasner9937 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the camera is 3D/stereoscopic. There are two lenses on each side facing the same direction (total of 8 lenses). Stitching is automatic.

    Yes, very nicely made but unfortunately the quality of these cameras still is pretty bad and not on par with real 4K cameras with one lens.

      1 lens doesn't show as much of the scene around the camera, nor any depth.

    • @mavfan1
      @mavfan1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      of course, but until a higher resolution can be achieved this kind of product will fail.

    • @GmanMilli
      @GmanMilli 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I could comment in a video about a 1 lens camera and say this will fail because it lacks depth sensing and doesn't show everything around it! It's all about what interests the filmmaker and their audience. If you're not viewing 3D 360 on a 3D display you're really missing out. Something I don't like about the term VR is people just think 360, but 360 3D is where it really shines.
      To get the same pixel density as a 1 lens 4k 90deg camera you'd need about 4 times the pixels, or 8K.

      I am assuming that you don't have this camera by the way you termed your statement. The Vuze camera does work in VR and there is depth when you view it. Any 360 video will be clear on TH-cam if you set it at 4k. Also I noticed (at least for my browser) the default is for the video to be zoom in closer for some reason so if it is not cleat then make sure to zoom all the way out. Now back to VR: If you view a 360 video in VR it won't be as clear. Not because the video quality is bad but because the maximum resolution for VR is less than the rendered video. It is possible that when the HTC VIVE Pro comes out that we will notice a significant difference in viewing quality as we will be in the 2k category. The other thing about 360 is the file sizes for true Ultra-UHD resolutions like 8k and 16k require enormous file sizes. And for now it is not practical to post stuff like that so we are kind of stuck with playing with settings as best as we can while viewing in VR. And that is the other problem. We need better players and codecs to handle VR video content so that we can tweak things to our liking and have them rendered properly. The Vuze camera has 8 lenses not just 2. That is rare in 360 cameras and there is great potential in having that many eyes. Therefore, as the software evolves the uses of the camera will increase. What I see happening as with VR is trolling about technology when people have not given it a real chance. I get all the complaints and arguments but for the most part it is just noise. I have VR and love it. Is it perfect? No. But I still will support it as that will only make it get better faster. We all know the real reasons people complain about things we can't have. We have all been there. Cheers. :)

      The pics is maybe not crystal clear but good enough. You do not buy this for the purpose to get the best quality pic ofc, you buy it to get a immersion that normal cameras can not give, and as I said the pic is good enough for that. This is not a replacement for normal camera/phones, but more a complement.

    please help me learn how to upload videos from my camera to TH-cam. I am processing the file in vuze studio, but it is not uploaded to TH-cam. What is the algorithm for handling a file in order to successfully upload a 180 video to TH-cam?
