The most annoying thing when unlocking the lost is when you take forever to get missing poster and when you get it, for the next 4 floors you don’t get a sacrifice room and then you die
I finally found the missing poster in one of my beast runs. But I found it on Gehenna and there wasn’t a fucking sac room. I was so pissed. And then I lost the run to Scythe harbinger. Very sadge

Same! Originally before I got repentance on my switch I had put in 65 hours of Isaac and had only done a few greed runs. And I only had 52 coins in the machine so I grinder the shit out of greed mode and unlocked greedier mode after unlocking greedier mode I abused Liliths OP shit a few runs over and I was done by 1 in the morning. I was tired but I’m just glad it’s over with. Also having mantle for the downpour/dross mirror dimension is really nice :]
just wanted to give a tip to completing the boss rush to unlock the forgotten, you can actually pick up an active item and replace it with the shovel to stop the mom feet from stomping you at all. the shovel will not disappear since you never actually leave the boss rush room. just make sure you are holding the moms shovel when boss rush ends as the second shovel piece wont spawn if youre not holding the shovel handle. make sure you keep count on what wave you are to make sure youre able to replace your active item with back with the shovel again so it doesnt despawn.

Repentance changed stuff. Mom will still damage you even if you have pyromaniac or host's hat with the broken shovel. You can still cheese if you manage to get a run with Bethany or get the moving box. Mask of Infamy can now block the stomps if you're lucky.

@@guillekronberg it is very possible depending on the kind of run you get. the hardest parts of the run are Basement and Sheol if you get a good item from the start like Jacob's Ladder or The Wafer.
Fun fact about ultra greed. 1. Any poops in the room with ultra greed will be turn into golden poop. This is helpful with the "a card against humanity" card. 2.: if you have Midas touch, you can reduce ultra greed defense by 25%, ultra greed have a damage scaling armor.
8:47 it seems you havent taken red heart damage in years, considering the fact that it gets reduced by about 2 thirds not to 0, the multiplier thing is also false, its about 33.6 percent
important thing to note is that pyromaniac and host hat no longer protect you from the feet in repentance as far as i am aware, so you are forced to keep or running or fail. using the shovel will cause the said feet to stop spawning for the current room, so use it wisely in rooms with difficult enemies or during boss fights.
ORRRR... if you happen to have the spindown dice unlocked, you can try to get ahold of it then find mucormycosis or whatever, then use the dice to get the whole shovel, since the spindown dice reduces the item id by one, and that item happens to have an id above the shovel. this allows you to completely skip the torturous process of killing a boss in basement 1 and having to deal with the feet while trying to reach and beat boss rush.
Technically, for reaching the dark room, you can also use the sacrifice room to get teleported there, I have both lost and forgotten and still don’t have the negative, though doing it how I did it is not recommended
Another mini tip for unlocking azazel always bomb the keeper if taken dmg because it increases it by 10 percent and if you have not taken dmg or have goat hwad dont

Try and aim for some health ups and speed ups, those help with flight included. Also try to deal for actual brimstone and tears upgrades, damage ups or ipecac included. Just play regularly and there you go.
A good way to play Azazel is to maintain your max speed at all times by flying in circles around the room. When your brimstone charge is ready, swoop in and laser your target before flying away. This minimizes the time you'll be in melee range and keeps you safe. From there it's just a matter of getting good at dodging and learning enemy AI patterns. In short: * take advantage of flight * pick off high priority targets first * dodge, circle around, attack from behind * brimstone laser goes pew pew * ez win 🏆

So, I died on the sacrifice room's spikes while holding the Missing Poster and got nothing. My run simply ended. I was playing as Isaac and I have no idea why it didn't work. Was it because I looped the game?
I never realized the shadow and the shadow also looks like the shovels handle though that was cool and saw when it sways its means its gonna fall and the bomb pushes it in the hole issac is in really cool on small details

I think ive heard that you have to beat The Lamb at least once to even prime the ability to do the unlock process he said in the video. ive been trying to unlock him and i know you dont simply just start out at the point he said even tho the rest is super accurate. I've beaten the first floor boss in 23 seconds and never got the mom dialogue and shit lol. Got really good luck on my first run with eve and the items let me clear rooms before enemies could do anything. The final item was the R key, which let me restart and unlock Samson really easily.
Gotta love my luck, I unlocked appolyon and the forgotten in the same run I beat mega satan, and I dug up the grave with the cursed shovel and when I finish the run guess what happened… I didn’t get either of them :l

Just try to stay over rocks as much as possible. Brimstone is short range, but is not blocked by environment stuff

With the repentance dlc, unlocking keeper became a whole lot easier with Tainted Cain.
