    The tie down for the spare tire on mine was seized solid with rust. It was twisting the entire bracket. I ended up having to jack up the bracket holding the spare tire up and slipping the the tie down off the side when it was clear. Definitely gonna need a new one. But what can you expect for a spare tire being stored outside the vehicle in New England lol. Surprisingly the rest of the undercarriage is spotless. This is on my 2013 Nissan nv200

    Thanks for the video. I’m retired and have a 2021 model. I sell antiques at shows and it occurred to me I didn’t have a clue if I have a flat…

      Glad it helped. I have a bunch of antiques. Mostly toys and hot rod stuff.

    The issue is, when i wants to bring the tire back to its place it keeps turning and it makes a loud noise while driving, i cant put the tire back in its place, maybe bcz of the rust?

    Wait a minute, does every NV200 have a locking lugnut? If so, I have no idea where mine is.

      Not all of them I'm sure.

    I was hoping to see how to remove the factory jack from underneath the seat

    • @roadsideguy5902
      @roadsideguy5902  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry. They are actually held in by someone expanding them after putting them under the seat so what you have to do is essentially lower the jack to make it looser so it will come out.

    There is actually a hidden tray under passenger seat where the tools are located. I’m sure you will find them there.

      Yes thanks I'm aware, however what you may not know is that most work vehicles don't have factory tools. They are removed by the company to prevent workers from attempting to change it themselves and getting hurt. Workers comp claims are serious. Most Amazon vans, plumber vans, electrician vans, etc are all void of these tools for a reason. At 1:20 in the video i show the missing tools. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.

    The specific locking lug nut that is on the tires , my used nv200 didn’t come with the key that unlocks them , do you know if it’s possible to get one elsewhere or what do you recommend doing without out in the event of needing to change a tire?

    • @roadsideguy5902
      @roadsideguy5902  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go to the part store and get a stripped lug nut removal socket and hammer it on to the locking lug and remove it.
