My nv200 i have got over 30000 miles out of tires. The trick for me was keeping tire pressure up to max pressure. The tire is so small i believe it changes pressure very fast in ambient temperture change. I am also probably carrying more weight as my van is set up for hvacr with ladders on top as well. My mpg average with ladders is around 25 26.5. mph with out ladders is around 27.5 to 29.5. Noticed when tire pressure at max it had better mpg.. w/ an empty van i think i could do 30 to 33 mpg..

Have NV 200 2014 from new so 7 years old 36000mls generally a good little van . I drive real steady never over rough ground, but had suspension arm go at 30000mls and the other one is on the way out!! Tyre wear is truly frightening ( and I've tried all variation of tyre pressures) if I didn't own the vehicle I would never believe it! If I drive as quietly as possible the best I got was 7000mls that was with the original Good year tyre ( I don't know if it's true but have been told tyres on a new vehicle are specially manufactured to last longer and not available to the general public??) Go online and see hundred of people getting dire tyre wear! Nissan refuse to acknowledge there's an issue.😷 Ps. I carry virtually nothing in the van. It is UK spec 1500 diesel I get over 50 mpg.
I’m guessing the greater the load the lower the fuel economy. I get close to 40mpg out of mine, but when working its hardest carries a foam mattress, bicycle, sleeping bag and a couple of plastic boxes. It is a 2010 model with a 1600cc petrol engine and automatic transmission which I’ve had for two years. I must say I prefer the styling of the old model, particularly the configuration of the doors on the side (new one exposes the door pillar, doors overlap the pillar on the old one).
Unfortunately is not Nissan the problem is the actual stealership I use to work at one and they use to do that all the time . So best suggestions don’t take it to the dealership specially when they know your a business on wheels they will start to mess with your van losing stuff around and I am not kidding, just to get your money and I seen very dishonest practices while I was working at the dealership. That’s why I’d became a mobile mechanic. I love to be my own boss and take care of people . By the way I was watching your video to see wether I buy an nv200 or a nv1500 I’d kind to like the 200 and I know about the CVTs transmission crap design but they don’t come on manual and I wish they did so I don’t have to buy one with a CVTs

Here is the gt radial tire I was talking about it has XL load range in 2010 through 2013 Ford transit connect's had XL payload tires and the vehicle payload was 100 more then Nissan NV200 The Ford transit connect Payload is 1600 pounds for 2010-2013
Going through the same thing with adding the touchscreen with nissan now. I'm looking to buy a Nv200 S compact but they are basically saying I need to do a $1,000 upgrade to the SV trim level then a $2,000 tech upgrade (only available on the SV not the S) to get a touchscreen display with Sirius radio and some other stuff. All I want is a touchscreen display cause it's freaking 2018 and it should be mandatory by now. I don't care about getting the Sirius radio and Nissan Connect BS. Can you steer me towards a after market dealer for touchscreen radios that will fit a 2018 Nv200 S? it's 5.8" the salesman tells me. EDIT: Seriously that $3,000 they want could be my shelves to make it a proper work van.

The 2015 models have one extra mile to get on the highway and they rate miles to empty on fueleconomy.gov The one extra mile to the gallon highway means it drives better and different tuning that means get the extra mile to the gallon
Do you know the thieves can break into this vans and the alarm wont go off... the keyless entry and panic remote is all it does lock and unlock, no security for your tools... they cant take it because the car is disabled without the key but they can empty it.. if you dont believe me roll down the window, lock the van, reach into the van and unlock it you will see there is no alarm...

So, it seems that you would buy the NV 200 without saying so, but with the front end tire wear, and the Nissan dealerships, would you buy the NV200 if you were going to buy a work vehicle? Yes they seemed to have the tire issue fixed on the new models. I've got 35k on it now and I am happy with it. It drives like a car and gets 22.5 mpg. I would buy it again but I would say that Nissan dealerships suck which really would be reflective of all stealerships

Redneck Garage Just wanting an update with the tires...I just filed a BBB claim against Nissan because my 2015 purchased in Oct /14 now has 8328 miles and the tires look like I have driven it for years...JK Tyre never even called me back after leaving several messages...very disappointed in them...BBB contacted me yesterday and Nissan is sending a Specialist to my dealer to look at the Van to decide the best way to fix the problem...just wondering if the tires you were given by JK Tyre are wearing any better...I truly think it is a problem with the suspension or the axel myself...any input or update would be greatly appreciated...

Redneck Garage Nissan decided that the two front struts were bad on my Van...replaced them and 4 new of the crapy tires....are you going to do a Video and update on your tires...I tried to explain to them it was not the front tires wearing nearly as bad as the back ones and they get worse when you rotate them...so playing the game giving it about another 6000 miles and I will be back to Nissan again...
If you go to Bridgestone tire.com US website they make a tires for a Nissan NV200 they make it all season tire and a winter tire also Firestone makes a winter tire and GT radial tires also makes a winter tire for the van that can be used all year round i've had used GT radial tires before and are better than some either cheaper price ones i've had use GT radial tires before and are better than some other tires or OEM tires on vehicles GT radial tire that is on their website of the XL Load rating it does not specify one for the Nissan NV200 but it will work because of the XL load rating and do not use P-metric because they will not have the capability for the payload of the van could break the tires have A nice day need any info on the van specially for tires call me at 586-329-8330

I am wondering if any transmission problems show up on this car. Jatco CVT transmission is known for problems.
I bought a used Dodge Dakota and got a service contract with that. They do try and up sell me all the time. I still fix the other stuff myself.

Its really all about the same. Not bad - you won't set any speed records but it pulls fine.
I have a 2016 200 NV SV my complaint is the gas tank is too small, on a long trip you need to fill up often.

it took me 5 minutes to change my broken rear brake sensor cable, on my NV200 and they changed you $ 500, bargain!
