He’s a white hat hacker, he’s notorious for all types of security services for high ranking personnel you have to think if he’s a hacker he’s able to find his way into secret documents without being detected you may laugh, but there are people who have that technology you could make a real exo suite and make it able to fly, but why would you release it to the general public?
As one of my friends said if you ever made something that would make travel much faster don’t post it on the Internet because those companies will find out where you are, what you look like & have you killed simply because it’s they don’t want to lose money! Imagine flying across the globe at Mach 2 without having to get on an airline without having to pay any money whatsoever the airline industry would fail just because you don’t see it on TV doesn’t mean it’s not true what you see on TV is what they want to you to see ! I discovered that in 1997 and that’s when I cut off the cable to my TV shut off your TV dude you’re programmed!

I was assigend to USSOCOM AT&L during the Iron Man project. I was doing some periferal support, but had access to and kept up on the project's progression. The concept and development went on in several stages with direct operator involvement from unpowered mechanics to a full-up armored power suit. There were huge technical challenges across the board. The project office contracted with garage designers (I can do this with Home Depot parts) to the National Labs and big-ticket vendors developing classified technologies. While Chris has some valid points, acquistion is regulated by law under Title 10, U.S.C. Rapid acquistion, a SOCOM tenent under T-10, is anything but rapid frustrating every 4-star SOCOM commander. SOCOM's unique acquisiton authorities under T-10 was often undercut in the permission process by OSD wonks in the 5-sided building and congress. Also, executing budgets under continuing resolutions, i.e., no official budget, is hamstrung by law so there isn't a lot of maneuver room for jumping money from one good idea to another. Tier-1 units and Title-50 agencies have a lot more flexibility to develop good ideas, but to apply said good idea across the SOF enterprise requires formal project designation and budget allocation along with all the baggage required my law. DEVGRU and CAG have unique authorities to make good ideas a reality within their operating environment and unit scale. Services, and SOCOM is a service, have to conduct acquisition under a different and more complex set of mandated rules set in law. DoD's acquistion process could use an overhaul, but that will require OSD support and eventual congressional action. Good luck with that one.

The usual stuff. People behind the desks are much more willing to spend money on the sexy stuff. We don't need the Ironman movie suit, the same way we don't need to spend billions each year on fusion energy. Get the simpler suit working, get the fast breeder / molten salt reactors working that we abandoned in the 60s because you can't use them to build atomic bombs, but they work and would solve our energy needs for the next 500 years. But noooo, next year we'll have fusion. We're "next year" since the late 70s...

If you need a suit to pick something up that weighs 35lbs you probably need someone to wipe your rear for you too after taking a dump. Much cheaper to get a gym membership.

@@minibuns5397 I agree, I been hauling block into holes since I was a kid. Old timer tell me I'll be in truck taking nap by noon cause I was hauling two to his one. By noon I was lapping him hauling four to his one.
My old man use to be able do two block in one hand, four per trip.
My guess is companies are figuring it a guy can work all day and do twice to three times the work.
Was just trying to say if they are offering it for construction they must have it for military

If you're carrying or wearing something heavy, it's not about strength, it's all about balance. Think about carrying a log. You don't carry it from one end. You carry it in the middle where it's balanced. If the iron man suit is balanced right, it would be more wearable. Internal synchronizer would keep you from tipping over.

Remember Dr Greer talking about the black projects? That suit Chris wanted to design would only need 10s of millions, the big suits needs 100s of millions. More money in the front, more money out the back. Think of all the old mafia movies!

The beetle wing thing is odd stuff. Think the man was an entomologist of some sort. I went down that rabbit hole before for design inspiration - there was not enough information to make it real. It\ concluded that it was a hoax. If I’m wrong about this that means new information / research has come forward to prove it otherwise as a means of levitation.

I designed a suit with the USMC while in Iraq. I was a NAVY mechanic working with Marines and we got to talking about things to improve their performance and survivability in the field. Sat down and designed a pretty resilient suit using tech we already had and a few tricks from ancient times.
Suit would have been around $10k back in the day, but did most everything the Marines wanted except fly. Had given the design to a Gunnery Sgt just prior to getting back state side and heard nothing else about it since. And sadly I lost most of my notes when my old cpu fried and one of seabags burned up in a shed fire.

    • @Garviel.Loken.Knight.Errant.
      @Garviel.Loken.Knight.Errant. ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@jaxmeoff3974 the suit had full NBC capabilities supported by a 2hr straight scba system which could be augmented with an extra rebreather/scrubber to extend that operational time. Helm had integrated HUD with target camera link for weapons systems, night vision, thermal, and a new sonar and radar system. Compressed gel/liquid ration system for easy on the go hydration and nutrient uptake. There was also an optional waste reclamation system that could be installed should operations dictate. Clam-shell armor system was rated for up to 7.62 rifle rounds at that time, probably a lot better now with some material advancements. Soft armor system could withstand .45 acp with minimal abrasion but you would definitely feel it, also had treatment for fire resistance (temp range I don't remember). Body glove had thermal regulation systems and biometric sensors, also a new hygiene aid system at that time(2003). Exo-support system allowed the carrying of 500lbs of gear at the operators pace. Most of the exo-frame was designed off compression and counter weight mechanics. Didn't give super strength but a Marine could lift one handed 100lbs easy. Some of the draw backs for the exo-support system.
An on-board solid state cpu allowed easy data processing for maps, GPS, comms and afew other operations. The battery at the time had a 12 hr continuous operation on all electronics, probably be better today plus using a fold away solar recharger to help extend operational life.
Drawbacks to the suit were its cost, weight came in at around 400lbs(empty), operator lost some dexterity due to frame rigidity, also the suit did hamper operators sprint speed.
That's a pretty general wrap up of the suit that I can remember. I haven't messed with the design or research for the design since I got out in 2005.
      Hope this helps your curiosity.
My inspiration was knight armor and an old siege suit that was found in a castle vault in 99. And Star Wars clone trooper armor and NASA space suits.
