I want to tell you all that I learned tapping years ago. I'm a flight attendant and there were times when I was in so much pain from injuries that I could not tap in front of my passengers while sitting in the jump seat facing them. One day I decided to mentally tap on the pain in my back. I had 5 minutes before I was released out of my jump seat to do it. My pain went from an 8 to probably at 2 in 5 minutes. Tapping by imagination has proven to me to be more effective than physically tapping. I don't know why but it works for me so much better and I can do it anywhere for any emotion or any physical sensation. I just want to offer that out to everybody to try it. The mind is very powerful and it oftentimes doesn't know the difference between a placebo or the real thing. Happy Tapping!

I wonder if what your doing is very similar to somatic tracking and your doing this intuitively! I love combining tapping with somatic tracking for pain. Have you ever heard the podcast “tell me about your pain”. You might be surprised that you stumbled in somatic tracking, but tapping in your minds eye. I came upon somatic tracking first for physical pain, but it didn’t address trapped emotions so much. The EFT tapping has been a game changer for emotional freedom. Between the two…wow! Thanks for sharing your experience. ❤

If you picture it in your mind your mind still sees you physically doing it. Your mind still gives you the affect because you pictured it so the mind reacts as if you physically did it. The mind does what we tell it to do.

All these years I have been hearing about tapping and not doing it. It seemed crazy and impossible that the claims of its benefits could be true. Well, now I know. In desperation, I was called to try it. Within a couple of weeks of daily tapping through deep seated beliefs and feelings, I am light as a feather. The cocktail of fear/shame/anger/sadness that has been a lifelong weight in my spirit has finally begun to evaporate. The joy and freedom that emerge when these heavy feelings dissipate is miraculous, but real. I will continue this practice daily as I feel better and better. Thank you.

You could save yourself from twenty years of ploughing through self help tomes by getting onto this. I'd heard a well-known abuse survivor (Jay Parker) extol the benefits of tapping for trauma, but was sceptical. I'm getting more results from one month of this, than from twenty years of other methods, including EMDR. Nick's book is a must, especially the, um ... surprise content!

My therapist sent this video to me and it has been a game changer. Y’all, I get manic, overwhelmed, all the crazy feelings- and this takes me out of it. Even if you think it’s stilly, try it just once. If you know someone this may help, forward it to them. This truly has changed my life.

This was such a phenomenal watch and I tapped right along with everyone and I healed a trauma from the past that I had no idea was still running through my body with such fervor after all these years. Thank you so much Nick, I love your authenticity and the clarity and love you vibe within your service work.

Thank you Nick for giving such an easy and effective techniques. I am a psychologist and I was looking for some techniques for my clients with PTSD where they don’t have to live those moments again and find quick relief. EFT works like magic with them. I tried it on myself to get clarify on some of my issue. Now I know exactly what I want. There's no confusion, no regret, no fear of losing out on anything. This state of mind is so beautiful. Thank you 😊😊

Maybe this didn't work for me just because my issue is related to surviving. Like reptalian brain stuff. basic human needs like food and home and when they are threatend its only anxious you can think of. I will tap still more and try if I see some hope for the future.

The results don’t happen right away. I studied it in 2007. It didn’t work for me either because later I learned that I wanted a quick fix, had to change poor mindset of excuses, be vulnerable & be open to getting help. I took a course during covid & it helped my anxiety 😬. I tap inside my car commuting to work.

I'm stuck on step one. How do you just turn it off? It sounds so easy to just turn it off but some can't. 😢what are some ways some one can turn it off in the most scared or angry mins? Do we not try to turn it off in those moments and practice it when that situation isn't so intense ? Sorry if this is such a stupid question🥺

Hi Maria, We're sorry you're having headaches after tapping. Please make sure you are staying well-hydrated and you might try tapping lighter. Instead of tapping on the points you can try pressing on them.
