Honda 5 hp no start issue fixed

Let my 5hp sit for 6 mo forgot to put fuel stabilizer in it, looks like I’ll be doing this tomorrow. 🤦‍♂️ thanks for the video!

I let mine sit 3 years and with the old gas I topped it off with fresh and she fired right up lol I love them little Honda’s

Hahaha, I did the same thing I let it set, then I just topped off with new gas and it runs perfectly

Had same issue with a brand new honda 5hp 4 stroke. Follow your steps and the thing started on the first pull. Thanks!

The reason it didn't start in the first place is that you had bad gas in it. Empty your fuel bowl when your not using the motor. That's what the screw is for.

Is there no gasket between the carb and float bowl that needs to be replaced each time?

I just did this to my 5hp and it work. My jet way clogged.

Bought a 5hp Nissan 2stoke no fuel old fuel had water in it. so bowl pull it is

Even with clean carb and fresh fuel bought from BP it wouldn’t start. Shocking.
