    I did my masters and worked in the US for almost 10 years and finally moved to Canada this year. Same boat I have my green card filed with a priority date of Jan 2019. No hope has of now of ever getting it. But like you said since Canada has given the freedom and opportunity we should strive to make the best out of it. Canada does pay way lower then the US so we should aim for the best and keep improving ourselves and succeed.

      how did you move to canada? I am right stuck at this point only, I want to go to USA for a couple of years then move to canada but dont know how would that be possible?

    • @pk9436
      @pk9436 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rishangprashnani4386 Going directly to US is impossible unless you have a PhD, multiple publications and patents. Like top professors in India, can move to US universities on H-1B which is cap free. Also, if you are a top researcher (minimum PhD is required), and back up your expertise with top letter of recommendation/patents/awards (like fields medal) or publications, you can directly apply for US green card from India. Green card for this category only takes 1 to 2 years for people born in India.

We moved to Canada, 3 years ago and now I am working and doing part time freelancing work. My husband is working full time and also preparing for his business. I know life is better in US IF ONLY you have GC.

      I'm planning to do undergraduate course in Bachelors of music composition and film scoring in the USA
      And it will be F1 visa afaik, is it worth it?
      Cause I'm spending like 1 crores on it
      Then I'll do OPT which will be of a year or two which depends!
      Will i be able to get H1B visa?? People say so much stuff like H1b is not easy as it needs sponsorship and days after f1 is only 90 days,
      Then you'll have to leave the country??
      What shall i do?

    Absolutely true what you said about the ability for H1B holders to do business in America. I have tried doing business (my own) there and it faced several hurdles due to the owner being on H1. Even after I made a citizen the defacto partner and owner we still had related issues. So I see your point.

    There is absolutely NO COMPARISON for Canada with US. Canada population is tiny with very low number of quality jobs can pay is very very less, it's a frozen wasteland for most of the year, my taxes are sky high and you'll be able to save only 50% of your whatever little income you can make in Canada and forget about owning a decent size home those are ridiculously expensive... And moreover 90% off Canadians live on the border of us... US beats Canada hands down any day

    I am in a dilemma right now, I have a masters in CS admit at the University of Florida. I have been to US previously as an exchange student and had a really good time there, thanks to the Southern Hospitality.
    However I don't know if USA would be the right choice for me, pertaining to the fact the current situation has made it increasingly difficult to land jobs. I have friends who are at top ranked universities like Southern California and NYU, who at this moment are having a really tough time landing a job after graduation.
    I am also planning to apply to Canadian universities, however i will most likely not get an admit from the top universities in Canada due to low gpa, even though i graduated from a top notch Indian school. Would end up getting somewhere in the lines of Ryerson or Manitoba. So my question for you is, does it make sense to go for lower ranked universities, what kind of jobs can i end up with? And how would this allign with my Goal to go for an MBA, and leverage my career in consulting in Africa, LATAM or south east asia?

    • @RavishVlogs
      @RavishVlogs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Canada has Higher Taxes than US. Taxes in US are 2/3 to 3/4 less of Canada depending on US State.
    Salaries are also Higher for Skilled worker Jobs like STEM and Healthcare
    From My Observation, Quality of Life is Much Higher in Canada than US. Streets are Cleaner, very few Homeless people in Canada compare to US.
    Crime is also very Low in Canada. you can walked in Toronto Downtown at 12 am without any worries, Such things are impossible to do in US Cities.
    Canada is Good If want to Live your Life with Less Hassle and US is for people who are ready to work hard and have Higher ambition's in Life coz its Land of opportunities

    I agree with this point of view. But, I think it is still worth staying in US for atleast 5 to 10 years so that you make the money and gain experience and then move to canada. I hate the fact that I cannot do a side business of my own but I am just hustling through to gather as much as I can before I move to canada.

    Hi Sir, very inspiring video. I am considering moving to Canada from USA as well. It would be very helpful if you can touch upon how you handled your investments in USA - real estate and stocks when you moved to Canada?

    Bro I know which company you are talking about. Frankly speaking even if you manage to get through these company you would have become part of crowd. It is good that you made your own path and chosen where you wanted to settle. I think you made the right choice by settling down in canada.

    Sir ji, I am going to come to Canada to pursue MBA with finance major and I also want to be an investment banker. I request to make separate video describing your personal experience in the field of Investment banking and what are the job prospects after MBA with Finance major? What is the range of starting salary for freshers near Toronto area? , if possible.
    It would be very helpful if you can make video.

    • @RavishVlogs
      @RavishVlogs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am in technology but I know a couple of friends in Business Side, there are some large banks here and a good scope. its mainly in Toronto area, starting salary is somewhere around 80,000 but freshers ko shuru mein thodi bahut struggle karni pad sakti hai ... i think its the same in every country right now.

    I live in Canada now but really happy and proud that I chose US for my master's. All my education was funded, and I had earned money at end of my master's. I had opportunity to see such a beautiful countries, you can take turn in any road and US countryside is too beautiful. On the curvy roads, I can see ranches, small beautiful houses and big farms. Canada roads are boring, very few turns and interior roads in Canada are all broken.
