But yesudas came from a very poor background he even had to beg money for his father's funeral, he started his carrier in his young age of 21 , at that time eventhough he sang many songs the society at that time was not ready to accept him because of religious issues as karnatic music at that time was upholded only by a particular caste , but it was chemmbi who took him as a disciple and society had no option but to accept him

And before you talk down to non-hindus please realize that everybody in India, and in the world, is a convert of some belief system or the other. Inhabitants of modern day India were not originally hindu, so by your logic even your hindu forefathers were also converted from their original beliefs. Since Hinduism itself was born out of foreigners who set up the caste system to oppress the original inhabitants of India. The fact is India has always been a melting pot and crossroads of thousands of languages, traditions and cultures. Even today there is so many divisions even amongst the hindus themselves as a result of the ancient divide and conquer strategies that the hindu ruling class i.e brahmins imposed on other hindu castes for literally thousands of years. Maybe its times hindus start taking responsibility for the present day results of actions of their ancestors and do something to remedy it, and don't say you weren't there then and at the same time blame Indian Christians for what racist european colonists did. Christianity and buddhism was in south India back when europe and east asia was still pagan. Christians in south India were called Nasrani. Buddhism was also present in south India long before east asia embraced it. Indians have always been open-minded and free to follow whichever faith they wish. If you have a problem with that present your arguments to them and let them make their own choice. Live and let live.

The basic difference between yesudas and spb sir is that, god gave spb extraordinary music ability and great opportunities but for yesudas god gave his own voice and extreame music ability and asked him to fightand conquer the opportunities... both of them did the way god intented for them extraordinarly well.....

Spb sir came from a well off family, and came to chennai for higher education from where he luckily got his first break and persuade his passion...
But yesudas came from a very poor background he even had to beg money for his father's funeral, he started his carrier in his young age of 21 , at that time eventhough he sang many songs the society at that time was not ready to accept him because of religious issues as karnatic music at that time was upholded only by a particular caste , but it was chemmbi who took him as a disciple and society had no option but to accept him
And yes, K.J.Yesudas is a fantastic singer, but SPB is a blessed Human Being! That's the major difference!! Something you forgot to mention! 🙂

ash8832 You sound incredibly ignorant. Orthodox Christianity has been in Kerala for almost 2000 years, brought here by Christ's apostle Thomas who was also martyred in south India. And before you talk down to non-hindus please realize that everybody in India, and in the world, is a convert of some belief system or the other. Inhabitants of modern day India were not originally hindu, so by your logic even your hindu forefathers were also converted from their original beliefs. Since Hinduism itself was born out of foreigners who set up the caste system to oppress the original inhabitants of India. The fact is India has always been a melting pot and crossroads of thousands of languages, traditions and cultures. Even today there is so many divisions even amongst the hindus themselves as a result of the ancient divide and conquer strategies that the hindu ruling class i.e brahmins imposed on other hindu castes for literally thousands of years. Maybe its times hindus start taking responsibility for the present day results of actions of their ancestors and do something to remedy it, and don't say you weren't there then and at the same time blame Indian Christians for what racist european colonists did. Christianity and buddhism was in south India back when europe and east asia was still pagan. Christians in south India were called Nasrani. Buddhism was also present in south India long before east asia embraced it. Indians have always been open-minded and free to follow whichever faith they wish. If you have a problem with that present your arguments to them and let them make their own choice. Live and let live.

Yesudas is not God and on the pretext he shows that he worship all Gods. He has lenience towards Hindus mainly because of his business interest and mileage He pretend to be very humble but not. This is all a show business.
Show me one human being who is not concerned about his/her own interests. So what is your point? Yesudas pretends to be humble and is lenient to Hindus... So what? That's his business. He is (or was) a damn good singer, and a better human being than most people.
