I have a Rhoads from the Pro Series and its a beast. It the cheapest guitar I own but it's my Ol' Faithful. Great fit and finish and as stable as can be.
The Gus G series signature models are real nice I've seen about 4 different brands that have similar shape I'm gonna have to get one.

The Monarch Pro series are beautiful in my opinion. The Marty Friedman model also is gorgeous.
2017 was a good year for Jackson
Correction: Phil Collen was never a Charvel player, but his signature guitars with Jackson tend to go along the San Dimas HSS route - but they have always been Jacksons. Btw, his drummer is called - wait for it - Rick Allen.

I'm going to get that Alien burst green Soloist. I saw that color and it was over. Been hard to find a guitar that I like in green. It seems though, that this is the same as the Rootbeer finish one that I bought not too long ago. They didn't have that green when I bought the rootbeer finish. Love that Soloist; nice neck & plays like butter. Thing is, I just bought a second Ibanez to keep the Premium RG I got a few months back company. (they both came with hardshell cases too; $1200 and $1400 respectively)The new one is a Prestige. I like the thin Wizard necks on them but Jackson is my first love.

I love the Kelly guitars. First time I saw one was at a local shop near me and it was a silver snake skin pattern. It was bad ass looking as all hell.

He hasn't used a Kelly shape since Megadeth. If you saw his sigs with Ibanez and PRS, they were ALL single cuts.
not all ... Ibanez is doublecut SZ and not even signature series ... just custom or prestige series, i think ...
He plays a burgundy red kelly right now. It's got 24 frets, 2 pickups, 1 volume control and a tune o matic bridge.

How can you not know about Joe Duplantier?
That's Peter Wichers from Soilwork and 5 finger deathpunch ! Cool guitar -- $1200 -$1300 is about right based on the neck, pups, Floyd and Paint job. Charvel are original hotrod guiatrs, amazing necks. Surprised Satchel left Kramer ; that guitar was cool too. MAP is $1900 but that means you can buy for $1200 people

Jacksons seem to fly under the radar these days, even with the monolithic Mansoor endorsement and the new Gojira thing. I hardly ever see them in my country in Aus. A year or so ago I (impulsively) bought a 2nd hand but still relatively new black gloss Pro RRTMG. Gotta say, if the other Indo models are like this, the quality is really nice. If you had given me this guitar and told me it was Japanese, I wouldn't have batted an eyelid. It was almost spotless. The inlays in particular well clearly added by stable hands. From close up the QC trumps my Indonesian '07 Ibanez V I own (and still love anyway haha). Really sleek instrument. There is a slight design flaw, the fretboard is angled so steep, that I have the '81 sitting 1.5cm above the body just to be close enough to the strings. Not an EMG-friendly board angle. That said, my limited experience with the Indonesian line has been positive. Hopefully the same quality is transferred across the Indonesian X and JS too. Just shouting into the void!
If that purple super tele comes in a Floyd rose trem, They have my money.kinda like Jackson having the Tele body back, I don't quite like teles, but Chris Oliva made me get interested in super versions of them.

At around minute 14:00 you guys talk about "superteles" and how that's now a thing. Well, that's thanks to people like Joe Duplantier from Gojira, Stephen Carpenter from Deftones and Jim Root from Slipknot. They all play tele-shaped guitars in heavy music (Jim Root even plays actual Fender Telecasters)
Kinda sad that Charvel didn't bring a fixed bridge So Cal guitar 'cause even if the San Dimas is cool, I'm a sucker for super strat with a pickguard IMHO. BUT the "super tele" looks cool

When can we expect to order the new 'more affordable' Misha signature guitars? I would also love to see the specs of that guitar.
I ve always expected these two companies as well as perhaps schectner and Ibanez to bring into the ruling hierarchy, a carbon fiber hollow body dianosour of an amp driving pre amp within the hull of the body and a very mild to wild electronics package.. Even the use of piezo pick up choices and power.active pickups as well as coil spittng and on forward thinking carbon fiber guitars with very well voiced guitars. Driving the tones of virtual amp fed guitars and modeling into a new realm of ra di cal design.
Guthrie's sig is amazing...But so fkn expensive.
