I have the same opinion about living for life as in 01:10:00 of the lecture. The difference is - I have that opinion about the USA. It’s a lovely country to visit, wonderful people to meet. But before Americans sort out the gun control and healthcare issues, I wouldn’t ever want to live there permamently.

At 30:14 I thought: This guy Comes from the right but he has shown not only far more interest but also far more appreciation for the (for lack of a better term) not so smart People than say a leftist like Bill Maher who goes to great lenght to ridicule them.
His Point is quite simple: Their is a difference between caring für a child and raising one and that is the Problem of the welfare state.

Our current welfare system advocates people getting deeper in the hole. At least he's thought about how we may reverse the incentives that cause this.

Wow, how prophetic this was. It predicted the mass migration we are seeing today

Perhaps "Pragmatic Libertarian"? Which part did you think was too much about race/culture?

I would not entirely call this standard libertarian. It was a mix of what I would call social conservatism and libertarianism. Most libertarians do not talk nearly this much about race/culture.

Stop focusing on the poverty line, and start focusing on the happiness line, which is 70k. Match, dollar for dollar (up to 100k), what low income people are capable of earning, and watch how everyone competes for jobs that no one wants.

It is not society’s responsibility to make people happy. There is an obligation to stop people starving to death if they are unable to look after themselves and their children. Fake nails, eyelashes and arse surgery are your own responsibility.
