- My review on the( Knowledge Zenith ) KZ ZS10
These were sent out to me by a seller on Amazon
These earphones have 10 drivers in total; 5 in each earphone.
4 Balanced Aramture Drivers and 1 Dynamic driver.

A quick comparison was done between the KZ ZS10 and KZ ZSR and ZS5.
I no longer have the KZ zs6's (since I did give those away)?...
so I wan't really able to compare them to that.
I might be getting an extra pair in soon so I'll have a comparison review between those ... maybe....

Thank u sooooooo much for putting boring unpackaging at the end, diving right into the sound quality, and KZ comparisons. IMHO this is one of your finest reviews, spot on and excellent! Other earphone / headphone reviewers THIS IS THE NEW BENCHMARK!!!
Let me remind everyone, again, it really is all about trying different tips and getting a good seal and fit. As well nice review. p.s. the bass on these are quite forward and very detailed (especially in the sub area) with the proper tip.
Barry Kissoon Can't agree more. Get a set of 10 pairs of Sony tips, you will for sure find one pair that suit you.
For roughly ten bucks more I got the KZ AS10's and was blown away. These are a bit nicer than the ZS10's. Very flat and level through the frequencies with five drivers each and the kick drums have that true and solid "kick" sound. They come with memory foam tips in several sizes so you won't have to purchase those either. I was so excited I passed them to my wife so she could experience the unbelievable sound and ended up immediately ordering a pair for her to enjoy too.

What are the best cheap earbuds you've tried?
I saw you have a bunch of videos about earbuds and got curious if you were to rank them or compare them to the ZS10's.

KZ stock starline tips work for some headphones and not so much for others. I find the Starlines helpful for other IEMs but maybe not for this one as I'm using triple flange tips (half way inserted) since they need all the help they can get. Starline tips are amazing for the Tinaudio T2 for example.
With kz I guess the rule of thumb is to get the alternating models. I have the zst, zs5 and ZS6. The zst is just awesome in terms of sound quality and price.. Got the zs5 soon after but didn't feel like a good improvement and I kept gong back to my zst.. The ZS6 however was too well made for me to resist the temptation to get another kz. But my gamble paid off and my ZS6 is the new daily driver for me.. I'll be skipping the zs10 but will keep an eye out for the possible ZS6 successor with the same build and sound quality.
With my collection of Urban Ear Hybrid, Memt T5, Memt X5, Zircon, Headroom Ms16, Tennmak Pro, Tin Audio T2, ZhiYin Z5000, and soon the Revonext Qt2 (all my xiaomi hybrids having dies from shitty cable), I've yet to buy a KZ product. Either the sound, ergonomics, or the price end up preventing me from purchasing.
Just wanna throw a few ideas out there ......One thing that baffles me...i know reviewers must not eq or amp earphones for an objective review, but the reviews should wrap up, with a reviewer offering not only as some do better eartips , or upgraded cable, but IMHO always..not sometimes....offer what genres of music that are best suited for that earphone, and their experiences using an equalizer app, maybe some screen shots of optimal EQ curves applied. This can help w both V and U curve, and other earphone sound signatures, on what users should set eq to. Also objective feedback using a quality portable amp/DAC COMBO. Example KZ-ZS10 some say are hard to drive vs another pair, ok...what about applying an amp and offer feedback, same holds true for EQ app, which some fine brings out sound a bit more. Just tossing out ideas i would like to see reviewers start doing, and less unboxing time. 😁😎....u sir are one top 3 best...reviewers!
The BA 10s for me blow these away in every category, surprisingly even comfort which I always hear people knocking the BA 10 (I must really have weird shaped ears as they don't bother me at all). The BA 10 is just a lot more detailed. That's not to say these don't perform well, they have a pleasant and full sound but especially in the middle they can get really congested an issue even with the BA 10s but more apparent in the ZS 10s, I agree about the ear tips, I use memory foam with mine usually.
kind of wonder how the pro revision with its new shaped shell made out of metal will perform.

A budget option for those don't mind the look and size of it. Overall decent iem imo. I made a review on my channel as well.
So the kz zst sounds like a valid alternative...
Try the "silver cable" that is curve also with no mic version. Not the heavy duty looking silver cable that is also kz. Cause to me when i tried the silver cable the laidback sound is gone and treble and bass are more pronounce.and the sound become a bit more thicker.
I got the new Kz-ed15, perfect bang for the buck, great bass , mids and treble.

i have C630, tin audio 515 , rock zircon, vjjb k4s, into-i8 etc but these are a bit different compared to what i have, great sub-bass is what i heard, think it as into-i8 with extra sub--bass with less mid-bass and better mids. Minute sibiliant here and there but you wont notice. Soundstage is kinda shallow. Can listen to it for long time. If you have a DAC or Amplifier then its a sugar on icecream . Overall i like them very much, perfect for what i listen.
And what do you listen? Is ed15 better then kz ate? I'm into hip hop and that sort of thing.

you should check out the nuforce edc iems from massdrop, they're the best pair you can get for $60

Have you taken any of these apart in a tear down? I'd like to rip the gut out and and re-use the drivers in a custom pari of shells I've made. Can you suggest a good KZ IEM that I can easily remove the drivers from? Thanks!

i've listened to some audio headphones and earphones that are like over 1k and i swear to god that if you blindfold me and let me hear the difference i would really not be able to tell....i really would love to .listen to the Camp Fire Audio Cascade because i hear they are fun and great
So I have the ZST and the ZSR. Soundstage on the ZSR is greater or more broad than ZST's but the bass is slightly more articulate than the ZSR's. Would you say that bass definition is less than the ZSR's but more articulate or more accurately than the ZSR's? And would you say the soundstage is broader than the ZSR's?
I wanted to buy this but not sure if it will last.

Zs10 ftw. Off the top of my head: no sibilance, Removable cable optional bluetooth adapter. Also, i prefer the sound on the zs10's over the sound on the t8s's

Man i really wanted to buy these KZ10's..but i'm starting to realize that the KZ ZS6's is a better IEM..it has waaaaay better build and has a nice balanced 4 hybrid driver configuration..so if you can accept a bit of high pitched treble cannon that you can easily EQ down 4db or put some foam
tips then you are missing out on probably one of the best KZ IEM'S. .

Absolutely, but the signature is a bit laid back when compared to say something like the zst pros or the es4's

I experienced that I think with the zs5's they just wouldn't go into the holes ....
TechManZ yeah exactly. I know this 2-pin type connector is KZ's signature but really they should just drop it and start using MMCX in the future
