The chopper doesn't pick you up when taking that specific route because the game didn't register that you passed the area 1 barrier hive checkpoint yet, so it thinks you're still behind and the chopper isn't ready yet, you need to touchdown at that area 1 barrier hive checkpoint before it will allow you to escape at your desired time. On an extremely rare occasion it will still delay the chopper even after hitting that checkpoint

The reason why it took forever to pick u up is because u have to hit the checkpoint in the first area, usually 3:19 is fastest with feral
