So step right back and you’ll hear a tale a tale…a three hour tour Ha love it Captain Actually thank goodness the ship owner had you guys on board cause it could have gone south real fast
I love watching your videos! I have learned so much since I started boating 20 years ago. I have always had gas engines. I currently have a 95 Trojan 39 foot express cruiser with 454 cruisaders. My dream has always been even before it became popular “again” to have a trawler. So I really love seeing you work on the engines. Anyways thanks! Sorry you got sea sick…oh and I have made some of my best friends boating and my daughter has grown up boating!!
I just came across your video dated Dec 31 2021 And I have to say I was very surprised to see you cleaning your deck with TIDE Laundry soap!, Which is very bad for the water and fish so please do some research and help protect the place you love to be on your boat. thanks for your time
I did not know that, I personally use Better Boat comapny products and do not have any teak decks because I do not like cleaning them its like mowing grass
no, its mechanical. most large desiels i am familure with are, you usually see the electrics on small motors like gen sets. was there something that made you think failed lift pump?
@@jameswilliams1547 I just thought an electronic pump may help quickly prime the system and push air pockets past the return into the tank. My boat has a mechanical lift pump but I'm planning on adding an electric in parallel for quick filter changes.
i see, electric would be faster but the speed of priming wasnt a big deal in this situation. i like the mevhanical pumps just for their longevity, simple design, and it means power isnt required to keep the engine running
Boating is not always easy. You did a great job

Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes boating isn't a trip to Cleaveland!
No it is not for sure
"They gunned it before they passed us, like dicks..."
Small planing hulls typically leave less wake at higher speeds, so no.
