the thought of Amy & Cream being portrayed as better than Shadow & Rouge in anything is something I support 150%
Crazy to think about huh?
That was the only time Metal had a story during the meta era. That’s sad. He wasn’t in Colors, was a basic boss fight in Generations, was absent in Lost World, and was only an illusion in Forces. But he did have a fun boss fight in Mania.
Ever since his stunt in Sonic Heroes, Eggman TRIES to keep a close eye on him
Well, there's Sonic 4 Episode II. It even had Episode Metal.
Judging by the individual stories, each team competes against another team in a series of races, and these match-ups happen a total of 3 times from beginning to end, implying that it's single elimination.
Now while the teams always face off against each other, this is likely due to narrative convenience (given that to do otherwise would require a total of 8 teams, aka 24 racers) - and thus it can be assumed that off-screen races are done against teams that, frankly, not worth even bringing up.
This is relevant because, in the last story, it's explicitly mentioned that Team Dark's blue robot had broken and gone out of commission - an event that only takes place in the grand finale of Team Dark vs Team Rose, instantly eliminating the other two teams from consideration.
Which one? Well, there's two pieces of information that tips the scales towards one team. First, in the Last Story, Knuckles makes mention of his prior noticing of the blue robot's issues (whereas in Team Rose's story Team Sonic gets eliminated in the first round) - and second, in Team Dark's ending, they attempt to just take the prize money and leave, and only stay for the ceremony because they're forced to in order to receive the real prize.
So from all of that it's pretty conclusive that it's Team Dark that manages to win the tournament.
The idea of Team rose/Amy and cream beating Team dark/Shadow and Rouge is Hilarious to me, And I don't mean in that is an insulting way Like "Like team dark would never lose to team rose," I mean in a 'Oh god I need to see that happen so bad."
I want to see Cream win, go up to shadow, Hold out her hand Say, "That was fun, Lets race again some time." And despite Shadow's character absolutely being ruined by the colours - Forces era of Sonic, He can't make Cream sad because your f--king monster if you make cream Sad, So Shadow Shakes Cream's hand, says Good race, and promises to beat her in the next race.
I just want to see a dumb interaction like this, Without the pontaff style writing.
I want Cream to whisper to Shadow “We stomped on you. This is my world now. You’re just living in it”
I posted my idea for Heroes Canonicity right? Team Dark going through Seaside Hill and Rail Canyon, Team Sonic tackling Grand Metropolis and so on? Nice to see someone else trying to cram multiple stories together.
It’s tough. But fun to try out
@@ThatSonicGamer Yeah. I think I started out trying to figure out what weapons are canonically used and when in Kid Icarus Uprising. Then with Kingdom Hearts III having that cutscene where Sora wields Shooting Star way too late in the game, I started trying to do the same with Keyblades, and then when I got back into Sonic; you probably know the rest.
I have TONS of ideas for the gameplay/story sequences if you wanna hear them!
We talk about a lot stuff similar to that in the discord server
