I think Bill is just more of a unisex name across the pond. The actress for another companion was named Billie Piper. That's my terribly American guess, anyway. EDIT: My favorite Bill and Twelve moment wouldn't fit in the tone of this video, as it's more serious. It's where Bill suddenly realizes how dangerous the Doctor's life is, asks if he's ever killed anyone, and refuses to accept his dancing around the question. Strong character moment for the both of them.
I liked Bill a lot more than some. I feel like the 1st couple of years w/ 12 was a lot of darkness and edge b/c that was just how Peter's Dr. played it and it was good but Bill really brought out a different energy for 12 and it let Peter flex his comedic chops a bit more overtly than he did w/ Clara.
Same. Bill is actually my favorite right after Donna, and then Rory. Unless you count River among the companions, then she's my #1 but I sorta put her above in a league of her own haha.

Twelve is the best doctor IMO. out of all the incarnation he's got the best character development and sarcasm IMO whilst 10 (Tennant) has the weakest. This series series 10 is the best of all of Modern who IMO. Nope the age wasn't the joke as the doctor's always been old lol Doctor terms with actors: eccelston- 900+ years tennant- 905yrs. Smith- 1200yrs Capaldi over 2,000 years. The joke on the doctors were. 9- ears 10- nothing 11- chin 12- eyebrows 13- female. So the joke with 12 was his eyebrows throught his era.

I think my favorite Doctor and Bill moments ones were the serious serialized scenes. But their funny moments were great too.

It took me a bit to warm up to her but i was sad when she was gone
Dr Who has been going for 60 years so yes they are lots of episodes and lots of different actors that have played The Doctor.
