I went to store early last year (2022) to demo this keyboard when it first came out because I was seriously thinking about buying it, specifically because of the vocal synthesizer. However after trying it out, I was underwhelmed with the sound of the vocal synthesizer and decided to pass on it. I have no regrets. On a good note, what you did to it in tbis video sounds AWESOME!!!!
ok, I got one of these to play around with vocaloid stuff a while ago but this actually sounds more interesting, I'll have to try it. Thanks for the tip.
Lots of casio keyboards really shine with external FX. My MT-35 is a world destroyer running into a 2 pole filter with a little dirt, and then into verb. Plus its battery powered, has a headphone jack, and fit in my back pack when I was in school. $40 for one of my favorite synths.
I almost bought it immediately but it has no decent voice input and no midi out other than USB, (deal-breaker for me) but hey it's cheaper than a Waldorf! There may be some way to hack bluetooth midi which might could have worked for me but thats so many accessories to make ot useful other than a toy.
Decades ago I got a cheap Casio which had a very funny bell-apergio sound. Added a delay and sampled it to play on slow speed. Was a weird but very usefull sound. Funny, it's Casio again ;-)
"V" in 1000V stands for "vocal" like vocal synthesis. I have its cousin CT-S500 and I really like it. For all the GAS sufferers - you can always use speech synthesis + any vocoder or autotune.
Well, neat, but unless they come out with a cheaper 25/37 minikey version or groovebox implementing similar functionality...I think free plugins will have to do, and honestly, I could make a very similar sound with TAL-Vocoder and the right carrier and modulator. That thing is too big and too pricey for that one gimmick, for me. As nifty as it is.
If anyone's wondering, these are $470 new.
(I won't tell your significant other you were here 🙃)
Honestly not bad as far as physical hardware goes
why is that second part nessisary 💀
@@Cr4z3d I know right?
Thank you!
(Thank you!)
My ctx 6000 is perfect still after 2 years i definitely recommend
Dude got the patch for playstation 2 opening theme
Yes! You just brought back so many memories. Loved those ambient system sounds and visuals. 😌
oh both of you, theres free playstation convolver reverb thingies for free somewhere. should be a quick google away. theyre pretty cool
Everything slow drowned in reverb sounds good
No lies detected
what ab an 808 lol
ur mom
Sounds CRAZY......YOU can type in the Words ???😮😮 NUTZ !!!!
"poopy pants farty butt butt poop" never sounded so beautiful. Trust me.
@@VenusTheoryAhahaha
Classic😂
crazy? i was crazy once
actually incredible cinematic sound, the power of slowing things + Valhalla supermassive
Valhalla making one of the most fire plugins ever and not charging for it 😂😂
I love it, to be fair, Supermassive can make sharts sound like a gorgeous Gregorian chant.
This is literally exactly the sound I've been looking to accomplish in my music for a decade plus. This is the perfect synth 😍
I have never seen a hardware voice synth before. WHAT?
Anything can sound good through Valhalla's reverbs, (and Eventide's Blackhole), (and any of the multitude of incredible FX plugins).
yes and also the wetness was so high that youre hearing the plugin more than the og sound
slowing it down and passing it through a filter is some major COWARD behavior. you respect that fella for what it is.
Of course it’s the the guy who makes corny 16bit Mario music leaving this comment. 😂
Casiotones! Recording a barking puppy and hit demo with puppy bark as the sample is a classic gag since 1985.
I remember when this came out. Impressive vocal synth.
You have mastered the art of the short video. Congratulations!!!!
i love music videographers who play both sides of the fence
We literally didn’t ask for this and you gave it to us ☝🏼
Bro explained dubstep with the first sentence
"Funky porno clav" bro 😂
Wtffff I almost choked on my beer
thanks for showing it but i personally think it sounded cooler without the supermassiive on it
Absolutely awesome technique! I love vocal synthesis and this is really nice!
This is so cool. It sounds kinda granular. I love it!
Perfect sound for when you get tired of your synth pads.
"bizarre shit that nobody asked for" - Witch From Mercury's shield "POYONG" sounds. 😍
This is giving me an attack of G.A.S.! Perfect excuse to add an oversized Casio to my collection of keyboards I already don’t have room for!
You can always use any speech synthesis online service + any vocoder or autotune that you already have, or it's bundled with your DAW
Annnnnnd, now soon they'll all be sold out thanks to this big tip off!! Apreeeeeeesh 🙏

General MIDI through Valhala will sound amazing too.
i looove microsampling stuff like this so much
Bizarre shit that no one asked for is one of my favorites as a musician.
🤠✌🏻You Are A Great Keyboardist My Friend🤠✌🏻
🤠✌🏻Congratulations🤠✌🏻
Casio keep breaking reality. So many unexpected instruments.
the first "talking" notes sounded like Imogen Heap a little bit. Overall sounds fricken awesome.
i have wanted one of these for about 4 years, but keep procrastinating. this demo may be the catalyst i need... meh. I'll wait
ok, i believe now, u gonna do another decent sample virtual instrument using this instrument and metod....and thats gonna be amazing!!!
dudddeee a physical alternative to vocaloid? Yess ssirrr, gimmegimme
Very LORN sounding, love it
To be fair anything sounds good through valhalla plugins lol
God I love taking taking random sounds and running them through supermassive. So much fun.
haha....bizarre shit no one asked for.😂 but we ask for. you are an excellent sound designer!
Casio always does that thing that Noone knew they wanted and then they stop doing it.
AMAZING DRUM GROOOOVES! LOL
Everything sounds good though super massive. But I agree no one asked for my tunes.😂😂🤔😭😭
I had a VZ1 back in the day, Casio has some very unique ideas!
That’s gorgeous!
so this is what ryoji ikeda was thinking making dataplex, except 10000% more
You made that little Casio sound like a vocoder on quaaludes, man. Radical! :D
Everybody is a DJ and music producer today😂😂😂
That’s the ToTo Africa drum groove.
crying for the arturia squashed below
"Bizarre shit that nobody asked for" 😂 that sums up my TH-cam channel 100% 🤣
Sounds like a synth version of a Yaybahar
ok, I got one of these to play around with vocaloid stuff a while ago but this actually sounds more interesting, I'll have to try it. Thanks for the tip.
That gave me some Vangelis vibes right there.
Holy shit I was not expecting that
Supermassive is the real MVP in this video. You could sample a fart and it would sound lush.
The best sound was the unpacking!
The champ of funny intros did it again 😂
Haha that sounds sick. I love supermassive. I feel like most of that last sound is really the sound of supermassive more than anything
Super cool result!

Love your stuff dude
Ah yes, now I can make my keyboard say the most heinous shit.
Even a Casio talking calculator can insult. If you're quick enough on the "Four' and 'Off" keys.
I mean, pretty much anything that you put through an adequate patch of Valhalla Supermassive, WILL sound good.
So vocaloids and stuff but built in??? 🤯 miku keyboard when
I almost bought it immediately but it has no decent voice input and no midi out other than USB, (deal-breaker for me) but hey it's cheaper than a Waldorf! There may be some way to hack bluetooth midi which might could have worked for me but thats so many accessories to make ot useful other than a toy.
That’s a hello world sound, wonderful share
My god man... Absolute genius 😮😮😮
Everyone says they live the Valhalla verb but it sounds way too resonant and distorted to my ears.
Very blade runner esk! Cool video dude 👌
I smell a decent sampler instrument coming up
hahah holy shit that was a shocker ... that sound really good. Looking forward to a video when you make a song with that stuff :)
Whoa
It sounded like the intro to Mirrorverse by Turbo Knight. 🤔
Dear Santa
Bro do u have a music production course
Have you ever used Plogue's Alter/Ego?
fascinating free plugin
Holy cow. That looks like great fun and inexpensive to boot.
Is there a smaller form factor version of this? Buy link?
So where is the 6.5 hour album using only this sound? I need it. For research purposes
This is _stupid_ and I mean that in the best possible way.
Decades ago I got a cheap Casio which had a very funny bell-apergio sound. Added a delay and sampled it to play on slow speed. Was a weird but very usefull sound. Funny, it's Casio again ;-)
Why is it so dusty out of the box lol
Can the vocals do different accents or is it just USA?
Playstation 2 Startup sound
ok that went right up my butt and shook my spine

To be fair, you can record a fart and it will sound amazing if you run it through Supermassive.
I NEED THIS!!
I can finally upgrade
Make a sample library with it
I'll give this a try with a Roland GO Keys+TC electronic Flashback Delay hahaha 😉
Is there a vst where you can do a similiar thing
I guess this effect is just rubbernband down pitch, can be made also in Audacity :D
Now I want to have one 😮💨
Everything I think of when I see a Casio is dumb but fun half-toy sounding synth sounds, but wow.
Creative. Nice.

Hahahaha that's was funny asf
Yasssss!!!❤
I like shit that goes "beyyhoowe"
I need a desktop version
How did u get a standard keyboard hooked into ur daw??
It has 1/4" audio outputs
