Beautiful shop! Love how great the plants looked. Too many stores by me have dead plants all over their tanks. Doesn't make me want to purchase thats for sure
Great information, but i have 3 anubias broad leaf coming and have cracks/crevices/holes in some driftwood that i was just going to wedge in there...no glue or anything. I figured the roots would grow in to the wood...your thoughts? I do have the glue because im also gluing 3 java ferns to stones when they come in, but if like your thoughts...thank you
Do you use the gel because the plant is wet? Also, I used clear drying gorilla glue to glue some flame java moss to a piecevof driftwood and it dried white and it was a gooey mess. Thank goodness it flourished and it's overgrown the white. I now want to do anubias and more java moss, unless you can recommend a moss that's a better filter than java, but on these it's in spots that it would show that white, and I don't want to see that white. Does this super glue gel dry white?
You can bury it in the gravel, just do not cover the rhizome. The roots will be safe if planted because I’ve had two planted in the substrate with the rhizomes above the substrate and they are doing just fine.
How long do you have to wait before you put it back into the water in your tank after you glue it to the wood or rock? Will it kill your plant if you leave it out of the water too long?
Anubias has one of the lowest light requirements for a plant. I always suggest 8 hours a day. That can depend on the type of light you are using. But its a good starting point.
It's like a piece of acrylic , and after it gets wet it will be safe and make sure it's Cyanoacrylate and I am sure it's safe and I think most people will use way more than necessary, hold it down 10 - 30 seconds and either wrap up w paper towels or in water asap
Yes it will and yes it does dry white. So use sparingly of you don't want it to be seen. The moss will grow pretty heavy so honestly long term you won't see the white.
Thanks so much for your help!! I was really so sad to tie them with some other. This is great.
Thanks for watching!

Attach to the wood and immediately spray with water for nearly instant set.
Great info! Thanks for sharing

Can the wood be wet or does it need to be dry?
Anything is fine

Can you put the Nubias plant in the gravel? Or it has to be on a wood? Curious because I bought 2 plants of Nubias for my 10 gallon tank 🤔
No. If you bury the roots/rhizome it'll die.

How long should the light on for anubias nana petite?
Can I do the same with a teracotta pot?
You can. Just follow the same steps. 🤓
How long before you can put it in the tank with fish after doing this
can i use liquid super glue instead of gel type with cotton pads?

It would take a while to kill the plant. Just wait until its dry. Only take about ten minutes. Plant will be totally safe. Have fun!
@@rockbeachaquatics2481 thanks
superglue and water should insta set
How many hours of light does anubias need

Super glue doesn't contaminate the tank? Never would have thought you could do this!
I did mine today and it died. I didn't use the correct glue. It doesn't say cyanoacrylate. I had it for almost 3 months.
Dumb question: can I glue plant to fake piece of log or does it have to be real driftwood
Not dumb at all. Yes you can, as long as plant has something to attach to you're good to go :)
I don’t get how the glue doesn’t pollute the water.

Wil this glue work for moss and does it dry white
