- Yamaha gives us another great entry-level home keyboard with a great selection from their XG soundset, plus general midi sounds complete with the MIDI sockets enabling it to talk directly to other devices. So it's nice to play basic tunes but also has the capacity to grow with you.

The XG voices sound really good with Sustain and even better when keyboard is amplified! Got mine used for only 10 Euros as my fifth keyboard - and just for trying out. Will keep it for sure ! Next stop PSR S670 or Korg PA 300. Damn I'm so in between those two! ;)
Interesting note on this keyboard, There's a girl her name is lorelai mosnegutu with no arms that plays with her feet that auditioned on Romania's got talent using this keyboard on stage. Sounded really good too. Can't remember if she won or not. Its on TH-cam somewhere if you look around.

I think you press function and scroll to SPLIT and switch it to ON, then scroll to SPLIT VOICE, and when you change it the keyboard should have the two different voices. I hope!
I found this magnificent keyboard outside in perfect condition, so I discovered it and I want to learn to play at 39 years 🤣 I think it's a very good machine for beginners?

Oh yes, music tech is great for kids. It keeps them interested. I do synthesizer workshops for groups of kids, they love it :)

I'm not aware of any way to do that. The manual is still available from Yamaha's website though. Just Google "Yamaha PSR-E223 PDF" and it should appear.

Why does this piano sound better than my p-35. The p-35 sounds muddy while this has crisper bass and cleaner notes
That's strange, in theory the P-35 should be significantly better

You can get the dual sounds by typing 122 in the voice category...
I'm having troubles connecting Yamaha PSR-E223 with the computer. I'm using Huashi MIDI connector and LMMS. I tried to download drivers but the installation didn't work. Where may I've been wrong?
I don't know what a Huashi MIDI connector is exactly, but the keyboard should install itself with a simple connection using a standard USB cable.

How do i turn on the touch, and how do i split ?
Touch response can be controlled in the Function menu. I think there is a Split button on the front panel somewhere but if not, the Function menu is the place to go. Press Function repeatedly until you see the option you want :)

How do you set up MIDI?? I need help!! What are the steps??
Just connect a MIDI cable, plug it into the PSR's IN socket and then plug the other end into the OUT socket on whatever device you want to control the keyboard with. Or the opposite if you want the keyboard to control something else (It's worth going into the function menu and switching LOCAL to OFF if you are using the keyboard as the controller) :) Gearfacts
