    Hill's trade stayed secret because of one reason. There wasn't any animosity on either side. Hill believed he was worth the contract he got and so did the Chiefs, but they just couldn't afford to pay it. It was a business decision by both parties. It wasn't because one of the parties was unhappy with the other or feeling like they've been treated unfairly. That means no one is sneaking off to the press dropping hints or deleting their Instagram pictures.

      Yeah nobody wanted Tyreek Hill to go. None of the fans, none of the players, none of the coaches, and probably at least of all the front office guys. He had already taken a remarkably Team friendly deal because of what was going on and off the field on his second contract. I think they knew and he knew that whatever contract he was getting ready to sign was probably going to be the last one and he needed to be compensated not only for his present value but for the value that he had brought previously and didn’t really get paid up to snuff with who he was in the league. Also, the Kansas City Chiefs and the coaching staff and the management are all incredibly loyal, almost to a fault. They have kept players in a lot of cases that weren’t performing because they were reliable, or just kind of as a nod to what they had done in the past. As a Chiefs fan I have absolutely no qualms with the move that they made. It’s the move they had to make. I have zero doubt that it probably broke their hearts to do so. And frankly he’s getting paid like he deserves to be paid. I can’t fault a man for that.

      The Chiefs did not believe Hill was worth $30m a year. We love Tyreek in the city but he's not worth more than Davante Adams or D-Hop. Hill had a ton of dropped passes that turned to picks over the middle. He's a speed match-up nightmare for the right QB and head coach that knows how to utilize his skills.

      This draft for kc was unbelievable, I know we don't technically know until we see them on the field but it's pretty unanimous belief that kc had top 5 draft for value and positional need. Besides the Ravens and green bay the other teams that had good drafts were bottom dwellers, so of course t h ey are supposed to get good value. Tyreek just officially became kcs mvp for the future, I believe his trade is going to rival the great Hercshel walker trade that set up the cowboys dynasty. This is the best overall roster kc has had in the mahomes era, even if some of these players don't reach their highest potential they added so much depth. 2nd and 1st round talent across the board in the secondary, linebacker isn't far off. A month ago the talking heads are talking about kc being ousted by the rest of the afc west. In reality they are still 2 steps ahead of them. Veach gets better by the year, kc is going to be around for a long time.

    This was a GROWN -MAN decision by both parties involved. Veach wanted to keep Hill and Hill wanted to stay but he had his price and Veach politely said we love you and respect your skill set but we can't afford you right now but you have our blessings to find a trade partner to satisfy your financial needs. Nothing personal, no whining or backstabbing just plain old fashioned business between men here. Tyreek is worth every penny but the Chiefs would have been dragged by the so called experts for paying him because of the state of their Defense. We had Hill for plenty of games last year and lost them because the defense didn't show up. This teams needs to be balanced and this trade allows them to get closer to being a balanced football team. Go Chiefs!!!

      I do, no more forcing the ball to one WR, no more lack of urgency from the coaching staff because they think "mahomes and hill will make a play" they'll actually have to scheme receivers open and get more creative on offense and run the ball more. This could actually make the chiefs way better because they'll have a strong group of receivers and getting ROJO at running back with Clyde, plus the rookie RB they drafted, it could be a way more potent and balanced attack on offense, NFL should be worried

    You need great offense and great defense and super special team and great defensive coordinator to win SBs. Mr. VEACH loves to get players on offense but he does not bring interior defenders. No does he have great defensive coordinator.. Thus, the defense cannot contribute to win SBs. Veach is wasting great opportunities for creating a Chiefs Dynasty. Frankly, he pays good for bad defenders and phony DC who cannot tackle and cut scores. FOR the last two years if the Chiefs had great defense and DC, the team would have won the last two SBs.
    Hope the next season will be different. Upto this point the Chiefs does not have interior defenders and great DC. Probability theory predicts that the Chiefs are still lacking basic elements.

      Idk - it was the fault of the Chiefs offense for scoring 3 whole points in an entire half of football against the Bengals this year. • @chrisnowinski2912
    @chrisnowinski2912 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    In reality KC's draft this year was C-D at best. When you break down draft grades it's all relative to value and how everyone else came out. First Veach made a huge mistake giving up too much draft capital to move up for McDuffie when the better corner was still on on the board. Conversely, the Bills didn't strike till there was only one 1st rd grade corner left on the board and only had to trade a 4th. By the way..Elam is a better prospect than McDuffie. That's how you play the trade up game in the draft. So right away that was a terrible move. Sorry Chiefs fan, McDuffie isn't a whole 3rd pick pick better than Elam. Second, they allowed the Pats to come up in the 2nd round and take a WR I know Andy Reid would have coveted...Tyquan Thornton. A 6'2' with raw 4.28 speed would have been an instant Hill replacement project for Andy Reid and instead he settled for Sky Moore who isn't all that. The Bills drafted a WR in rd 5 who is considered the steal of the draft and is a mirror image of Moore. So either the Chiefs really reached or the Bills are really good at finding gems. Either way, Bill Belichick fleeced KC twice in this draft. I Dunno how Veach "aced" this draft
