I don't see the $7500 rebate either in the lease. Do the math...it ends up costing the same or even more to buy it out as opposed to just buying it outright and financing it at 0% due to the extra taxes and fees you have to pay at the end. If you sign a 3 yr lease and decide to pay buy it out a month later, you still have to pay the 35 weeks on top of the residual value plus taxes and fees Tesla charges. It only benefits people that do not qualify for the $7500 rebate.

Oo yea, the loophole only benefits S X CT buyers and people who do not qualify for the $7500

I’m not sure it benefit people looking to getting into a Cybertruck even including the tax credit.
Based on m the fine details on the residual value of the CT $54,930 (on 36mth/10Kmiles lease) which would put the buyout total after one month almost 90k after the remaining m lease payments and tax credit
So it looks like they over value the CT now like the dealerships due I guess to balance out the Foundations series

Dennis, what are the chances Tesla reduces cost for Lunar Silver on Model 3 before year-end? Killing my lease because my preferred build is putting MSRP just over $50k limit for my state tax-credit.

This may work out for people like me who work remote and won’t be driving more than 8K miles a year. I’ve always been Upside on my cars so I can see how it can be worth when lease is up. For someone who drives many miles and aggressively and doesn’t take care of it - not gonna work.

I don’t see the $7,500 tax credit for leasing either. I swear I did at one point but doesn’t look like an option anymore.

I don’t see the $7500 tax credits for leasing. Is the price already included in the leasing cost.

PLEASE BE CLEAR - to existing lease owners. YOU CANNOT BUY OUT EARLY if you have a 3rd party bank as the lessor, you can only have the option to buy AT THE END OF THE LEASE PERIOD. When I leased my car, i Didn't have the option to choose. It was just done for me.
I just also checked with Tesla themselves! I do not have a buy out option until end of lease.
This means, you have to pay the full monthly payments + the buyout price.. which basically sucks because of the high interest in M3 P

His politics have pissed off the people who would be more likely to buy or lease a Tesla. Sales have been steadily declining sales, not just here but globally. So he can continue to so call discount his vehicles, he has hurt is brand and that $7500.00 is going by the wayside once Trump takes over. I like what California has already talked about continuing the rebate for every other electric vehicle except Tesla's.
