As an INTJ, I'd have to disagree. I don't usually like talking unless being directly inquired. When I am, I simply give an honest straightforward answer, no matter what the other people present might think.

The one answering the call is inaccurate. We don’t answer calls. We stare at the screen until it goes away, then go back to reading ebooks.
I'd prefer an actual physical book. But an ebook is fine. Do they have the wings of fire series on digital?
INTP's prefer to read videogames character dialogues but to each their own.
Sometimes you need to pick up because you know that they know that you are available and you can't think of a good, not already overused and believable excuse to use the next time you meet them and they ask you why you didn't pick up.

When someone else says "wait this guy was talking, what were you saying ?" it feels so damn good.
I have a problem with interrupting people, and I’m trying to fix it. I feel like such a jerk when I do it and the other person tells me to talk first. And then if they forget what they were going to say beforehand, I cry internally. My closest friends know me well enough to talk over me if I interrupt them because they know it’ll help learn not to, lol.
Why are phone calls so horrible? I hate them so much.
They really truly are. Always have been too, even when phones had rotary dials.
I almost got an anxiety attack answering my first video call
I have a friend who lives in another town. I’ve tried and tried to convert her to texting. The last text I got was 4 days ago. “Can you talk some time?” 😩 Feeling guilty.
On a positive note, it is a good excuse to leave the house and see people so that they don't expect phone interaction.
I can't find the subtitles for the phone calls since they always sound like the speakers broke.

The biggest problem for an Introvert is their school or job that you can't run away from. I can't speak to one person so I rather stay home hungry than than go to the store and everyone expect me to stay in a room with 20 to 30 people 6 days a week . I am loving the lock down 👍.

My mom asked me the other day if I was as noisy as I am at home when she wasn't around and I said I don't know. Truth is, I am noisier when I was the only person at home but since it's quarantine she can't help but work at home.
She said she could hear me from three rooms away and who was I talking to. I usually talk to the comics and books I read or talk to myself in the mirror since that is how I fill up my social needs. 😆

The “phone was in the other room” for the past couple weeks is truly me. 2020 has turned me into almost a hermit. I had one week in July where i was really social and I am still recovering,
All of these are completely accurate, with the exception of the “coming out of the shell.” Older you get, the less you lie about that, and you know it’s never gonna happen.
Yeah, idk... I'm almost 40 and am still telling this to myself. 🤣
The older I get, the more content I feel alone. It gives me so much more power that I can actually go out and talk to people. I don't even think it's the people that I dislike, it's the general norms of relationships, that interactions are supposed to be rushed, loud, shallow and busy. Why can't we just emerge into our existential loneliness in the company of someone else?

I even if my red hair and pail skin looks otherwise ....have Cherokee blood ..and I have seen a pic of my great great grandmother she was half Cherokee...I look like so much like her..I have.high cheekbones and a ..not sure how to explane it ..but a turned down mouth..so I look sad or mad to others when I am not..It's just the way I look..I have Cherokee blood on both my mothers and fathers side..so it is who I am and I am proud to have it..I do have Scottish and German blood as well..
Yeah, my ESFJ mom asks me all the time why I look so sulky, when I just have my neutral face on (and possibly thinking about something nice)
Same. When I present the practiced happy face, someone invariably asks, “are you in pain?”
Oh yeah, whenever I try to smile for a photo, I always think "now that must look like a nice, natural smile". But when I see the photo I usually look like a psychopath or I still look annoyed, bored or sulky 🤷♂️
