  • Leaving from Logan Pass we hiked along the famous Highline Trail in Glacier National Park. We hike to Haystack Pass and then summit Haystack Butte which provides amazing 360 degree views of the peaks of Glacier National Park. From the summit we headed back to Logan Pass to finish the day. Our hike was roughly 9 miles out and back with approximately 2,000 feet of elevation gain. This iconic trail is one of the most popular trails in Glacier for a good reason. It can be done in short sections if need be and little elevation change is required for excellent views of Glacier Park.

Gorgeous early morning start on the Highline Trail in which we experienced the sunrise over the Garden Wall, which Scott was able to capture 🌄 Our hike was highlighted by impressive views along a summit to Haystack Butte and meeting some nice folks from North Carolina ⛰👍

@@kimberlynolan2745 It was a hot day on the Highline trail. If I had to do it over instead of heading to the Chalet and down the Loop trail, I would have gone up Grinnell overlook and back to Logan pass.

My husband loved this video ….. one of his favorites. Impressed with the outstanding views, you were quite high, above tree lines. Were there any babies near the mountain goat basking in the sun? Might have been more aggressive if there were. Maybe some day we will see you on the trails, would like a photo and autograph .

I’ve seen literally a thousand travel videos of Yellowstone, Teton, and Glacier as we prepare to travel there in August. The vast majority are passable, and a few are really good. But yours stand out for the sheer cinematography and intuitive compositions you create with every shot. Most content creators don’t care about that level of attention, but I sense you guys really contemplate camera placement and the detail of the landscapes you’re capturing.
If no one else appreciates it, I certainly do. Every frame of your work is a story. Great job! We can’t wait to see in person what you already showed us in your videos.
And I bet you slave over your editing to the same degree. Great job!
