I found your review much more informative than the other reviewers of this new Civic Hybrid. You gave more helpful info on Google Maps and related features that are built into the infotainment system. As a tech user, I appreciated that. I'm interested in the sport touring hatchback. I'd love to see the other exterior and interior colors being offered for the topline hatchback.

The LX and Sport N/A ICE 2.0L engine is detuned from 158 to 150 hp to get better fuel economy, but has slightly more torque. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid has 200 hp & 232 ft/lbs torque. The LX is only available in the sedan.
Previously, only the Sport Sedan had the exhaust finisher. The Sport Touring Hatchback had dual tailpipes, I believe the Si has dual tailpipes. The Type R has the centered triple exhaust finishers.
The Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback uses the dame rear diffuser with simulated exhaust from the Sport. They still have a concealed exhaust pipe.
The Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback also has smoked taillight reverse lenses.

I’ve heard that the Europe model of the civic touring hybrid gets rear ac vents rear USBs and rear seat heaters and a panoramic sunroof. I think it has to do with that in Europe most cars are sedans or small cuv/hatchbacks so they wanted to compete better. Though it would be nice to it on the American model maybe 2026? But anyway great review nice and detailed not rushed and mentioning your height is very helpful not many reviewers mention it thanks.

When you drive the new Civic Hybrid, I look forward to your comments on its performance compared to the Civic SI. The statement, "It's the most powerful non-Type R Civic ever!!" is a teaser statement. Will Honda's implementation of that power translate into faster 0 to 60 acceleration and better handling than the SI? Will the Civic Hybrid be more fun to drive than the SI? I doubt it. If so why would Honda keep the SI unless they're also going to up the ante on the SI. I suspect the Civic Hybrid will be a competitive blend of fuel economy, sporty handling, and better interior quality and tech features that make it a step up from a Prius. That certainly is good for those of us shopping for a new car.
