I used to eyeball that model on Archer Air I believe. The target improvements looked pretty sweet. I’ve been hearing from lots of folks that they like a variety of models from that line. Pretty cool the ways they’ve taken it to PCP and in other ways modernized the line. I’m still a sucker for that traditional Model 160 profile in wood & steel.
I guess I may not have given this line of airguns the attention that they deserve. Apparently they’ve been around awhile but continue to provide traditional as well as modernized versions (including PCP) of the same basic system.
I was late to the QB party as well, but the 2 recent ones I've purchased were Beeman branded & I found the fit/finish /o-rings much better than the original Industry Brand rifles. Clean the barrel (tighten the barrel band), put a drop of oil on the neck of the Co2 cartridges & it should treat you well for a long time. Enjoy!
Its a crossman 160 and or umarex gauntlet. Lol watch a disassembly video trust me . Th e re the same thing. I also mod these and own one in hpa bottle version lol highly modified to the max .👍✌️😊
These are a lot of fun! I have a couple of the target models (ar2078) and the qb chief

I have the QB chief pcp in .22 cal and it’s a really nice rifle. I almost bought the QB78 but wanted to try the pcp. These are very nice guns!
Sweet, thanks for commenting. So far I’m really impressed by this one. I’ve heard great things about the Chief as well.
Nice! Love mine!
Very cool. I gather I was late to the party on this one. 🤷🏻♂️

You’ve described it perfectly, A better finished Industry Brand airgun.

Right on! Thanks for the information!
One I do not own.🤠🇺🇸
I just got one myself. But I’m learning that they have been quite popular.
@johnnybbgunner2136, This qb78 may be right up your alley my friend. I think you should get one. 😁
