Vader was clearly conflicted about murdering his own son, which is why he wasn’t giving his all. Luke even states that he “can feel the good” in him. He didn’t want to kill Luke in either fight. If he did, Luke would be dead.
Cere was a Jedi master. Only a master can grant someone else the rank of knight, like she does to Cal. There are also multiple times during the course of the game where it is stated that she was a Jedi master.

This is how you do a Darth Vader fight. You can really feel like Vader is a real threat here rather than just a slight obstacle. This feels much more like a fight for survival than most final bosses do.
Force unleashed is different, they made him non canon cause hes so utterly broken, in the first game when he was at like 30% of his true potential he stopped a star destroyer from landing.

If you notice the sheer power and force behind Vader’s strikes. How they’re able to knock Cal off his balance. We really see just how formidable of a fighter he is even with his robotic limbs.
Yeah, I think my favorite thing about Cal is that compared to most other Jedi, he's actually fairly weak. He _is_ still a Jedi, he can take on Purge troopers no sweat, especially after he gets some experience with them, but put him up against Vader and it is a completely open and shut case. It is incredibly clear to see during this sequence that it is taking damn near _everything_ Cal has learned and can use just to _survive_ against Vader, and even then he still required 3 different cases of backup, and _yet still_ was gravely injured during the sequence. It leads to a lot of potential character growth and creativity that the character has. In other words, Cal is the both the best and worst Jedi ever.
Man, fuck Luke and Rey. Both had minimal training and took on their own problems with basically no effort, meanwhile Cal had tons of tons of training and can still get his ass kicked. Being the 'chosen one' or 'strong female' isn't good enough. They need to train hard, learn from mistakes, just like Cal.
Far from the best, closer to the worst. Anakin was the best because he trancended the limited view of the Jedi. Coleman Trevor was the worst because he couldn't deflect 3 blaster bolts, and even ki Adi Mundy did a better job. However, cal is just weak not to remember how to force push. That's complete BS. He's no Jedi, just a lucky force user.

That's why not every Sith can instantly choke their Jedi adversary, nor can Cal Force slow or push Vader either. As if Vader wasn't intimidating and powerful enough, at the end of most of these deaths, you can see the camera pan from the ground up towards Vader, like a child or someone to weak to stand was looking up at him fearfully.

If you notice the sheer power and force behind Vader’s strikes. How they’re able to knock Cal off his balance. We really see just how formidable of a fighter he is even with his robotic limbs.
Given his weaknesses to water and electricity he shouldn't have been that much of a problem to deal with to be honest.

Yeah, I think my favorite thing about Cal is that compared to most other Jedi, he's actually fairly weak. He _is_ still a Jedi, he can take on Purge troopers no sweat, especially after he gets some experience with them, but put him up against Vader and it is a completely open and shut case. It is incredibly clear to see during this sequence that it is taking damn near _everything_ Cal has learned and can use just to _survive_ against Vader, and even then he still required 3 different cases of backup, and _yet still_ was gravely injured during the sequence. It leads to a lot of potential character growth and creativity that the character has.
In other words, Cal is the both the best and worst Jedi ever.
Man, fuck Luke and Rey. Both had minimal training and took on their own problems with basically no effort, meanwhile Cal had tons of tons of training and can still get his ass kicked. Being the 'chosen one' or 'strong female' isn't good enough. They need to train hard, learn from mistakes, just like Cal.
Far from the best, closer to the worst. Anakin was the best because he trancended the limited view of the Jedi. Coleman Trevor was the worst because he couldn't deflect 3 blaster bolts, and even ki Adi Mundy did a better job. However, cal is just weak not to remember how to force push. That's complete BS. He's no Jedi, just a lucky force user.

In fact, when he went to fight Vader for the first time (leaving his training with Yoda unfinished), Vader curbstomped him and slashed his hand, and on top of that Vader wasn't even trying to kill him (imagine if he wanted). He got more training in RotJ and managed to fairly beat Vader (even though Vader wasn't trying to kill him either).
Now, Rey... Yeah, there's no much to defend here.

That's why not every Sith can instantly choke their Jedi adversary, nor can Cal Force slow or push Vader either. The fact that Vader could effortlessly throw Cere away, breaking through her Force resistance so easily illustrates their gulf in power.

So basically Luke’s force potential allowed him to learn quicker then the rest of the Jedi his age so it makes sense that Luke could destroy a conflicted Vader
