Northern NM is an amazing place, it's absolutely worth checking out if you ever find yourself in the American Southwest!

Nice video. Sound quality could improve, but still enjoyed the video. Fish the San Juan and have been in this area. Have seen ruins , but totally missed all the petroglyphs. As amazing as Chaco, but closer to home. Thanks again.

Thanks for this. Much of this rock art was inspired by events that took place in ancient skies more than 5000 years ago.

I couldn't agree more, it's such beautiful country. The ancient history of that place is truly magical. Thanks for watching!

The people who made the art wouldn't have witnessed events that far in the past...

There is a large ruin in a cliff face. I saw it accidentally. It was inaccessible. I’m not saying where it is… you’ll have to back. Hint:you walked past it more than once.
Those lease roads are still in use. I drove a very large loop around the area. There are at least two More ruins on the top.

Much of the rock art in Crow Canyon is Navajo and only several hundred years old. There are some older petroglyphs that are 800 to 1500 years old however. Was there about 12 years ago and going back again next summer.
