I made the exact same thing! But mine runs vertically (winch on top). Mine is connected to a car battery that is on an always plugged in trickle charger and has been faithfully working for 14 years.
How did you get the outdoor 12v winch to work in door ? Are you using a car battery or power reducer ? I like the idea if I can plug the winch on a 110v thank you
Yes, why exercise, when you have exesses of room, tools, materials, money and most importantly TIME! I love pulling wire. The feel of the material, hard, soft, too hard. The different metals, alloys. Annealing when, how much? I learn a lot, being newbee. The time you guys use make the tool, preparing/ setting up, clearing away. Time I could use to think about what jewellery to make. I would have drawn several meters of thread, my body would be exercised (wife happy), calories burned (doctor happy), muscles encouraged to grow (younger women looking more, I am happy) And never mind the sweat! ;-)
I draw by hand when is silver and 24k but 18k hahahahahah and is 4mm dia my eye look like this -_- with a manual 2tonne winch that will help alot with a winch electric
heuytube , the idea this gentleman shows is very good and actually I made my own and I refine his idea a lot more ! I don’t feel is barbaric is actually brilliant! I work with the original horse pulling wire machine which actually looks antiquated!
@@TheOpera4ever Would you shareyour draw bench with the improvements you made? someone mentioned this: "If you add a pully on the draw wire side it will reduce the work by 50%" that would be fantastic, but i have no idea how, or where to add the pully ....I think this is a marvelous idea!!
Thank you so much, you are a teacher and professional.
