    Don't catastrophize! Just recognize what's happening. It's not the worst and it will get better.

    Mindfulness is what I would like to have less of. I think it causes anxiety.

      KNot-Mi ReelNém hi there, actually I have been practicing mindfulness to try to work against anxiety and I think it helps, of course it would depend on your circumstances and the kind of mental health issues you have, but anyways what I find helpful about mindfulness is to separate yourself from negative emotions by just observing them and being able to investigate how certain uninvited thoughts bring those emotions. What is important to remember is that thoughts are not always based on reality. Hope this helps. Good luck to you

      You can't fix your anxiety by avoiding it.

      It may bring unconscious anxiety -- you're anxious, but not consciously aware of it; maybe making poor choices because you are off-center and trying to cope using habitual behaviors such as over-eating -- to consciousness, where you can comfort yourself in more effective and constructive ways.
