As an Irish man that Ireland Vs Scotland was crazy, surprised more teams don't go for 3 props in the front row, ;) It's funny as well with Dan Sheehan, he will stay out on the wing for certain plays. If Ireland/or Leinster play on moving out wide from the middle of the field (watched a few games live), he tends to be out on the wing. it also helps that he is a speedy boi.
Lomu at scrumhalf is wild
If Jonah wanted to play scrum-half, you had better let him play scrum-half.
Flanker was JPR's favourite position. He was basically how Eddie Jones saw Jack Nowell but 40+ years earlier.
Wales v USA 2009. Richard Hibbard spent 58 minutes playing flanker. In addition to this, Gareth Cooper spent the last 20 minutes on the wing. So Wales had two hookers and two scrum halves by the end of the game.

Maybe it’s down to rugby’s specialist positions but I don’t know why it’s so mind blowing to have a taller guy a Scrum-half or having JVDF throwing it in. It’s still the sport they play, they’re professionals; being able to reliably deputise isn’t a huge ask. In the instances above, those players are probably just the best person available for the job.

@@sNoodinet d’abord je la ferme si je veux , et on parle ici de joueurs « rugby stars out of position » on ne parle pas d’actualité du rugby. Déjà faudrait comprendre l’anglais un minimum mais en même temps pour s’exprimer comme ça en français l’anglais ne doit pas être évident.
