My team lead ordered me to speak in English in meeting in which all the attendees are Hindi speaking Indians. I was in a moment of WTH as well as in a laughter while communicating. This communal diplomatic mentality of our people, hard to get rid of.

His Hindi is adorable ...... Somewhat like the ones from Arunachal and north east ....
Present Foreign Minister speaks and delivers lectures in Hindi, although his mother tongue is Tamil and he naturally knows English as well.
Being a practicing lawyer, i always feel that the court language specially high courts and supreme court shall be Indian, so that every litigant will understand what is going on in his matter.

Great to Listen Charles Thompson, hitherto unknown to many of us. It's pity he had to fight four years to get citizenship. India is still following colonial Administration. This has to change.
Sadly anchor didn't speak Hindi, even though Charles spoke Hindi.
Do you think you get citizenship overnight abroad ? No it is a whole process taking years, with thorough enquiries !
What must be stopped is Indians sitting in India like a frog in a pit and imagining the world better than their home country !
