Hey Bear is there a way to change SkeenaGamer to my current name so there will be no confusion? Cause every time on stream a Mod puts up top 10 it still shows my old name
One of the best reviewers out there folks! Don't believe me, check his other reviews and get back to me. Keep it up Bear! Looking forward to playing in the streams and getting your insight on the C40 live.
I bought mine second hand about 4 weeks ago, and haven’t gone into the software yet. This is a very straightforward and informative video, just what I was looking for.
There is literally no one on TH-cam who does controller reviews as good as you do imo. Keep it up Bear, quality videos my man. It was one of your past videos which convinced me to buy an Aim controller. After playing with Aim, I'll never go back to Scuf again. I've also played with this Astro C40 controller... But tbh, I wouldn't buy it. My hands are pretty small and it feels far too big. Plus, I don't like the triggers, they're are too 'loose' for my liking. It feels like they have no resistance whatsoever when pressing them. But, it is by far the best controller out there for how it feels, the grip is real. If only all controllers felt that good.
dope vid, I love my elite controller and haven't pulled the trigger on a scuf for the ps4 due to negative reviews on durability . Going to cop this one for sure
Neat controller ever. I'm 6'5 with huge hands. Normal controllers have my hands cramping after an hour. This controller after hours has them feeling brand new. And the quality is 10x better than scuf. Oops did I say that 🙄
Thanks for making these, very unique and you hit a market that really needed somebody like you. I always want to know how the new pro controllers perform but obviously they're really expensive so I can't try them all myself.
Just stumbled on your video and I just want to say excellent quality you can tell you take pride in what you do! Keep up the great work I look forward to watching your channel grow!
I love this controller!! At first I was skeptical because I was use to my scuf impact but after playing with this for a week I’m never going back to scuf! The quality of the Astro is amazing and I snipe better on blackout.
Had one of these reserved at GameStop day 1 of release. That particular C40 had REALLY DRIFTY STICKS. Both drifted left and I found a slight deadzone to the right. I returned that one and decided to give a second C40 a try. Everything is kosher on the second, but the controller is a different feel. I wish it was priced with X1 elite so I don't have a little bit of buyers remorse. But overall you can feel the quality of the C40 and quality in materials is worth the money. My only hope is this is the last gamepad I ever purchase for my PC now, and future systems 👍
I love this controller. I can’t stand the DS4 so now I have an option with offset thumbsticks that’s on par with the elite controller of the Xbox one. I picked this up Wednesday and already feel it’s worth the money.
Could you do a comparison on sound quality between plugging in a headset into the PS4 controller vs the C40? Hopefully with a better DAC and EQ everything sounds better, would be nice to ditch all my different headset setups.
Gotta admit im rocking a scuf atm and this controller got me tingling with excitement, looks pretty nice. Having said that ive had my scuf for over 3 months now and ive had no issues and ive used it a lot between dec and feb/march. I also love your reviews bro always great to see how the controllers are since you also stream with them. 😁👍
thebigzdog08 ur lucky i bought mine and after 3 months the right paddle stopped working. There are so many complains about the lack of quality on scuf controllers and i hope that this one will be better
I know i must be lucky i have heard lots of people complaining bout scuf controllers. Mine runs completely fine currently after 3 months of use bought it during the black friday deal last year 😁.
I had to return mine because in my personal experience, I did keep accidentally pressing the back buttons only because of the way I hold my controller (personal problem). I had to somewhat change the way I hold the controller, in order to hit the back buttons comfortably. During gaming and after gaming my marriage finger and pinky finger will feel sore/achy because of the way I had hold it. Overall it is a great controller, so don't get me wrong. It has no lag when in wireless mode, nice grip, it has some weight, swappable d pad and analog sticks, trigger stoppers, the button remapping mode for back buttons is easy, and the two different profiles for different button layouts. The only cons I found is that while in wireless mode, it doesn't show how much battery it has when you hold the PS button, the motion keyboard sensor doesn't work, and the controller in wire or wireless mode won't power on the Ps4/Ps4 pro.
@@xxcaseyxxc I really appreciate you reaching back thanks! But I see a lot of people complaining from stick drift when they swap it to Xbox controller layout, do you use Xbox or PS4 layout?
I'm waiting for the full review. Your scuf vantage review was spot on for my preordered vantage and the paddles were hard to press repeatedly and fast. Even with the firmware update the input lag is minimized but not completely gone so I still dont use it.
I've Had this controller for about 3 months now and it's waaaay better than my scuff, if you're looking for a high quality long lasting controller this is the one boys.
@@jasonbonilla4896 I find it very comfortable. It feels very similar to an xbox controller which I don't mind because I like a thicker controller. It controls very well and it feels very clean and crisp. I HIGHLY recommend. And I don't know when but sometime soon they are going to be releasing another style of dpad and possibly some other face plates with different designs and different thumbsticks as well.
