Oh my gosh, I love it when you find a chaffle you really enjoy. I hope you get more suggestions just so we can witness you having your mind blown more often.
Our Chaffle King has done it again! Thank you for trying these recipes for us! I know which recipes to go with and which to stay clear of. I am new to chaffles and I have learned a lot from you already. Keep up the great work! And you have a beautiful family!
Oreo chaffles are on the menu this weekend. I realized since I had to change Google accounts, all of your videos show unwatched with no thumbs up... so you've gotten some extra thumbs ups! Thanks for the recipes. The blueberry ones look delish too! Colton is just a little guy in this video! Awwhhh... growing so fast!
Omg how have I not found you sooner. You are a natural in front of the camera. Very Tom Hanks. Your information is priceless. I have been on keto information overload but you present information in a very straight forward manner. Thank you so much and i look forward to going back and watching more.
Awesome, awesome video! For the sweetner alone, that bochasweet, I could hug you. I never heard of that one and I hate stevia and monk fruit. The reaction the that black cocoa was priceless!
So glad I happened to find your channel. Enjoying going back to view all your past videos. Great content and loving the Chaffle series. Keep the. Coming.
Thank you very much for posting this. I really did not want to purchase another ingredient to maybe only use once or twice. I am sure that others appreciate it as well.
Tweaked and not too bad: 2 oz cream cheese 1 egg 1 T golden monkfruit (brown sugar sub) 1 T coconut flour 1/4 t baking powder 1/2 t cinnamon couple drops vanilla Thanks for the base recipe.
It wasn't my intent. I wanted to be a channel about making gourmet keto food that non-keto people would love -- dishes that might allow us to get friends and family members to come on over to keto. But this chaffle thing has sort of taken on a life of its own, and I love experimenting in the kitchen, so I'll ride this as long as it lasts. Thanks for the comment! 😀
It's only a failure if none of us learn from it. 😉 I'm happy to do this if it helps other people save time and money. As for the blueberry one, I really encourage you to get the blueberry powder for it. It really amps up the flavor. 😋
I made a chaffle bowl that made a good sub for an everything bagel for me. Ingredients: 1 egg; 1/4 cup Mozz cheese, 2 tbsp parm cheese, 2 tsp beef gelatin powder, 1 tsp xytham gum, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1/4 cup almond flour. I also tossed in a sprinkle or two of garlic and onion powder. I topped the chaffle bowl with onion and chive and phillly carmelized onion dip and some everything bagel seasoning. It was yum! and I had a friend taste it and she begged me to make her one and she's not even keto. It had breadiness, it had chew and it had good flavor. Next I am going to try the swerve cake mixes to make waffle bowls for keto ice cream.
I laughed really hard when you said that Low Carb Inspirations should get the credit even if the Oreo chaffle turns out to be bad. It hit me funny. I made an Oreo chaffle with different ingredients and mine was okay, I’d like to try this version.
So many chaffles. Found you tonight. Already ordered the Quest cinnamon crunch powder. My husband is now requested to start making all these different chaffles, lol. He’s the cook. Love your channel. Ty
Chaffles seem to have unlimited possibilities. I keep saying that had chaffles existed 20 years ago, I would have been able to stick to Atkins longer than a month.
I made blueberry chaffels sans the butter flavoring, baking powder and blueberry powder. I used vanilla extract and a bunch of fresh blueberries instead. Garnished with butter and sugar free maple syrup....OMGosh soooooooooo good! 😋
Hello, Steve!!😀👋 You killed me with the ashtray and chocolate comment!!😜😝 You are the Chaffle Zen Master!!! I will def try these recipes, and your daughter and grandbaby are ADORBS!!
Thanks. They also appear in my McGriddle video (coming next week), along with my son. Oh, and reaction videos from my daughter and wife -- so you'll get the entire SeriousKeto clan. 😀
Serious Keto It was pretty cheesy. I added a little shelled hemp seeds because...well, I bought it months ago when I started this keto journey and want to use it up! I making a batch of the nutritional yeast chaffles this weekend to have on hand during the next week. Next up....source blueberry powder!
Love your video’s! Your expression was priceless on the dark cocoa! Lol... I bought a Belgian waffle shape cooker figuring I could half the waffle instead of having to stand there and cook two small disc. I also used one fresh duck egg and one fresh chicken egg mixed together with the mozzarella. It was so fluffy it kept popping the waffle iron lid! I’m thinking of trying to make a chaffle with 1/2 the amount of mozzarella and adding a dollop of ricotta with Italian herbs to see how that taste in the morning...some spaghetti sauce might make it taste closer to a pizza adding a pepperoni slice diced to round it off! Thanks for you videos!
I made the blueberry recipe base but changes I used blackberries instead and did not use the blueberry powder. I used vanilla and maple extract 1\4 tsp each. And replaced the coconut flour with tiger nut flour. Came out delicious. Topped with Choc zero vanilla maple syrup!! Thanks much for your trial and error runs to get to good results!
I bought a bag of tiger nut flour but haven't played around with it yet. Do you find that the consistency and texture is similar to coconut flour? Thanks for the reminder that I need to try it out.
Serious Keto I just got the tiger nut flour and this is the second thing I tried with it. For the waffles came out just like real waffles but softer which is fine. The texture you will see is much better as I find coconut flour grainy. I wanting to do a bread recipe with it but know for sure will need to do some trial and error to get a good result. My true test on passing recipes is my dad and he loved the waffles.
@@jennifernoa308 I believe the Birch Benders Keto Pancake mix uses tiger nut flour, but when I got my bag from Anthony's the carbs were higher than I expected.
Serious Keto yes from a Keto perspective it would be iffy option on the carbs but I find it is not that bad. I don’t plan to use it always but when it really makes a difference in the recipe that will get me and dad to eat it. Me personally doing keto for just the healthy and mental focus, I did not need or want to loose weight but of course I have and find it hard to maintain the weight I want so a bit higher carbs not as concerned but that is personal choice to utilize it. Thanks live watching you channel while embracing the keto way.
I would consider myself in "maintenance mode" at this point. I also think I'm fairly fat adapted. I'd like to do more recipes that are more low carb than keto and may just need to put a big disclaimer at the front of those videos.
You.kept cracking me up through this video, very entertaining. I’m going to try the blueberry not sure about the Oreo. Thanks. By the way your voice reminds me of a radio announcer.
I cooked up some frozen strawberries with clear gel. Food coloring ( red) spread this as an icing on the strawberry chaffle. Sprinkled with conf. Swerve. I made the strawberry chaffel with strawberry extract. Can use strawberry flavor powder I guess. You inspired me to use my imagination.

I guess it depends how often you'll be using it. It's a big bag and the serving size is just 1/4 tsp. Next time, I'm going to mix some of that powder into the cream cheese frosting to really amp up the blueberry flavor. And I agree, a plunger whisk is one of those things that once you try out you wonder how you made it through life without.

Classic oreo chaffle
2 tbs dark cocoa
2Tbs sweetner ( or more to taste I added more)
1 egg
1/4tsp baking powder
1/2tsp vanilla
1 tbs heavy cream
Add cream cheese frosting in between
That's definitely a less complex recipe than the one I used. I'll have to give that a try and see if the one I used is worth the extra effort and ingredients.

It's in my video pipeline. I plan on doing a test run today and if successful, I'll record the video next week. It will probably be two weeks before it's posted based on my backlog.
Is the Oreo good enough to justify buying such a big bag of black cocoa powder?
I've never heard of it before either.
I'd have to compare it to one using just dark chocolate. However, it does taste almost identical to an Oreo and I think the chancake version would be great for ice cream sandwiches (that will be a future video).
Blend it with a milk substitute, heavy cream , sweeter and a little salt and it tastes just like a Oreo shake ☺️
I wanna make the Oreo recipe and just got my Chafle maker from Amazon the other day! Same one as you!
