    What We Discuss:
    00:00 Intro
04:14 When you’re one step away from changing the trajectory of your life
06:37 The difference of stacking one more day to completely change yourself
10:34 If you can survive the temporary, there’s growth at the end of every phase
12:04 Separate yourself from the outcome and just be present in the moment
16:49 “You only understand the power of one day when you’re threatened with never having another one.”
20:47 What’s your ‘one more’ that you’re working on right now?
23:11 “Just don’t quit for one more day and see how it goes.”
27:05 Why should you start doing one more thing to achieve what you think you truly deserve?
30:54 Make it a habit to always ask yourself, “What matters to me now?”
34:08 Don’t discount your own greatness because we all are born to do something great

I practice this. When working out, I'm like 10 more reps and end up doing 100. When I'm tired at work, I'm like one more task, and then I sleep fulfilled. It's the secret to happiness as a human being; pushing forward. As for those friends, I STOP them in their tracks. When they start bringing up my past, I'm like, “How can you not see how much I've grown?” And then I go, “Check in with me before giving me old tags”.

Thank you! I’m inspired by both of you!
I was in an unhappy marriage for 25 years. When I finally left and had not worked in 20 years it was a scary situation for me! I had three kids as well. I didn’t get a penny and I too had my electricity, gas and water turned off at various times…I sold all my furniture and belongings to keep us afloat…
Eventually I lost the home I raised my children in and had to sell my car…
Life felt like a mean place to be…
After all of that I was angry and down for years!
But eventually I scratched my way back up and started working two jobs and I was shocked when I received a scholarship to the writers program at UCLA! It was a blessing!
I’m in a better place now…I am a writer and work for myself now as a spiritual coach. I keep going and believing in myself!

This got me emotional because I tried staying way from alcohol for a long time and it has been difficult. I focused on being sober for 90 days and each time I would fall off. Until last year October I decided to stay away from alcohol just for a day. That 1 day has been more than 6 months for me. It was difficult in the beginning, then festive came and amazing how focused I was on just 1 day at a time. This video is helping me to apply the strategy in other areas of my life. This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

You hit so many relatable points! From childhood trauma to literally submitting myself to that same kind of trauma in relationships, friendships and jobs! Empath, “fixer” and giver my entire life. I’ve also realized that those I have attracted throughout life that weren’t brought into my life because I thought I was “fixing” them are the people who have remained in my life for for YEARS!

I founded a nonprofit 10 years ago, I gave away makeup and did self love speeches to women in hospitals. Guys, I got sick myself and now I am the one receiving help.
So, I’m grateful that I understand both parts of the equation at a deeper level. Healthy VS sick.
And because I have the “one more day mentality”, I stared a new nonprofit called “Magical Patterns” where I send art care packages to people that are sick but keep believing in one ☝🏼 more day. Thank you so much I got my answer today. 💎🙏🏼blessings your way

It’s 6:28 AM, and I just got back from my first ever CrossFit workout. Because of this video I did one extra rep of everything even though my legs felt like weak & wobbly jello. :)
This was my first cardio workout in more years than I feel comfortable admitting - but I did everything the trainer said to do, and I plan to go back tomorrow.
I’m a midlife lady, and so proud of myself for braving into the class, despite a lifelong discomfort in gyms.
Now it’s time to get get ready for the office by 8 AM, but I already feel victorious.
Thank you for the inspiration before my first work out. When the trainer said, “great job. You’re done.” I said, “One more. That’s the new rule.” She smiled. It was a good first day.
Keep inspiring others. My intention is to do the same. Namaste. 🙏🏼

Amazing, this is so true! Many years ago I contracted pneumonia with sepsis, this all happened within a space of 4 hours. I was literally dead but the power of love kept me alive. I said to god in my darkest hour going through the tunnel of light please one more day with my daughter because I love her so much. Now I am very healthy and and use the power of one more. Sometimes pressures of life make me forget and this is a reminder for me to appreciate life and the small things that are so important by using the one more. I got Ina car crash 2 weeks ago and it’s done a number on me. 9 ribs broke 3 vertebrae’s broke in my back, 2 in my neck. A collapsed lung and a broken pelvis torn ACL and my ankle broken. In the moment I’m so upset and so mad I can’t walk for almost 4 months. The worst part is I did it to myself driving drunk, thankfully it was just me and my car involeved. I flatlined on the sense and came back. That woke me up and really made me think of the meaning and purpose of life. I look up at god and think he gave me one more chance for my son and wife and myself. Life is so beautiful and it took so much for me to realize it is. This podcast is gold❤ God bless everyone!
