This is a great interview, I’ve worked on the Blacklist since season 1. I build the sets and can say first hand it’s a great crew all around, I hope we get another 10 seasons!
@@ericball6000 Superb character - fantastic acting from all - well written and directed --- great name too -- "Red Reddington?" Catchy. Caught me eye as you can see for sure.
It's really awesome they interviewed set design, hair, makeup, costume, props and stunts dept, so we can get a glimpse of how they work. It's also interesting to hear the writers and cast talk about the show and characters. Do hope that in S9 we get to see Red and all main character relationships evolve and develop their own individuality. It's a pity they often get sidelined in the past seasons.
YES -- huge congrats on Season #10!! I am in L.A. not far from the studios -- here andd there we see ya know -- him or her or some of them. Always a treat. :) The show though yikes -- it is really well done in every way. Lucky you Paulie!!! Enjoy!!
You’re welcome! I’m surprised I haven’t seen it available elsewhere yet. I’m sure there are better quality copies out there with no ads… But I am truly delighted if ppl appreciate it here.
I agree with James at the end. That speech he gave about Glenn at the Statue of Liberty was my favorite. It was poignant because of the actor's death in real life and inspiring because of the message. I'm going to go find it right now and watch it again.
Schade, dass Staffel 9 nicht in Deutschland läuft! Ich freue mich darauf, sobald ich es nächstes Jahr sehen kann, dann aber die komplette Staffel am Stück! Grüße in die USA!
Season 9 of "The Blacklist" feels like the very first season of a brand-new show. It's very back to basics & has that rough around the edges feel to it. I love how all the episodes are focusing on each member of the task force & how they dealt with Liz's death. After the departure of Megan Boone & it's original creator, the show has to find its footing again. If it struggles to do that, at times, then so be it. Any first season of a long running show, without one of its signature stars would be a challenge anyway. But it has been done before with great success. Look at shows like "Law & Order" & "Grey's Anatomy." Both shows have had cast members & production teams come & go & they are still here & have run for 20 plus seasons or more. If these shows can last for decades, so can "The Blacklist." Here's to another 9 seasons & beyond.
I absolutely love The Blacklist! One of my favorite shows. I have watched all the way to Season 9! I must admit that I have a BIG problem with Season 9. I feel that the writers blew it when they decided to make Dembe a FBI agent! It just makes absolutely NO sense to me! I just find it to be dumb! Why would they make a decision like that? Horrible! Still, I will continue to watch the show. I just wish that it had another story line than Dembe being an agent! Peace.
i felt he should've went back to his family after the kaplan fiasco. How well would anyone think they would fair after witnessing something like that? fans called him the angel in red's shoulder, however the angel he never listened to. 🤔 dembe wasn't supposed to last past the first episode so that explains why it makes no sense.
Unfortunately, nothing can bring this series to life anymore. Neither the bald James Spader nor his kiss with Stacy Keach or the more passionate with Skinner ...! The truth is there is no Liz, no show. And that's it. It ends with her death and the elimination of Megan Boone from the cast, regardless of whose side the fault lies. I keep wondering if the differences between the expectations of NBC and the actress were so great that they were irreconcilable ??? I don't know ... But I do know the show is over. I watch new episodes and find nothing in them that made me fall in love with Blacklist from the first episode. And we still don't know who Reddington is, father, mother, uncle, who ...? I am afraid that the creators of the series will not fall into their own trap and hide Red's true identity so deeply that they will not reveal this secret to us, since even Liz did not receive this honor before her tragic death! At the moment it is a sensational series, one of many that are on the market. Among the whole mass of others, it is distinguished only by the previous seasons, from 1 to 8. Megan Boone, please ... come back! It's not the same without you! Regards... Blacklist fan from Poland
@@a-slyva2249 Hi! I guess I can't agree with you! You write - she didn't do anything for the show. Not true! It brought emotions. Even the negative ones, such as the fact that she irritated us with her behavior (although I understand it. I would also like to know the truth about myself, at all costs ...). Well, that's what she got from the writers. Not her fault. Now what? What are emotions related to? Well, probably not with the action of the series, which has lost its dynamics ?! Season 9 has thus become unremarkable. What distinguishes the Blacklist from thousands of other series now? That's why I repeat, ad nauseam - Megan Boone, come back! Please...
@@tedreynolds2503 I am convinced of it and it borders on it. Everything that is happening right now in Season 9 is a fallout topic. At the moment, this series does not stand out from the group of other series on a similar theme, literally nothing! This is one of the many sensational series at the moment and certainly not the one that grabbed me from the first episode. And I will repeat ad nauseam - No Liz, no series. And that's it!
My dad and I don't really like how season 8 ended. I hope they can redeem themselfs with this season. I do wonder if this is going to be the final season. I mean, I kind of thought that season 8 was going to be the final 1, but nope.
Am I the only one that feels like they are really trying to not mention Megan in any way? Like, man, even saying the name of Liz seemed complicated to them...😒 Shame
Idk, I was actually pleasantly surprised in the episode and on here that it feels like Liz is still really important to the show. As for Megan, it’s more than likely that she had enough of it and wanted to do other things with her life. I can’t be sure, but regardless, this featurette is meant to be forward looking. Again, I really felt they hit a happy balance here 🤷♀️. Personally, I miss Liz terribly, but I don’t miss her quest.
listing the names of rightly eliminated thugs as a reason Dembe had to opine about discrimination killed any reason to watch this traitor screed. Eliminating everyone of those society roachs was justified and their roach parents and sympathizers should be caged by society. Not a tear for monsters let loose on humanity.
Almost done watching season 10, after a while since season 9. Didn't even remember (quickly looks up the name) the Park character. Was so memorable, apparently. Glad Discount Dembe (Weecha) is gone. For the most part, anyway (I mean why? Just why the romance? Ugh. Yuck.). Miss Aram. But, they managed to find an even more socially awkward guy to replace him with. And as usual James Spader carries, as he always have.
This was a poor final episod we got no answers about reddington, They need to make just one more show and give us the answers, We was let down by the makers of the black list, Would I watch the last series knowing the ending , NO I would not,
I love the Blacklist
I am on season 9 will start watching it tonight. This is the best series I have ever watched
