I would love to see a movie in where him and Anthony Hopkins go toe to toe. Both have amazing delivery and make you believe they are THAT character they are representing.
If all Spader had given us for his career was Alan Shore, in my eyes, that would be enough. He was absolutely brilliant in Boston Legal and continues his excellence as RR.

Well thank gawd, he gave us Dr. Jackson in Stargate. I can't imagine anyone else in that role in the film. Michael Shanks did a great job on SG-1, but the film Dr. Jackson is incredibly endearing, unique and special and that's entirely because of Spader. Always a pleasure seeing him act in anything.

Brilliant actor, have been an assistant for Tommy Lee Jones for years who I will adore to my death, TLJ was an incredibly complex guy and I really get that, Spader reminds me of that Lunacy..which breeds brilliant actors... 🥳
It's not pocket change by any means (James Spader gets paid about $125K per episode of The Blacklist, and this is all he does at the moment), but i can't help feel that, compared to other, far less talented actors, Spader is underutilized and underpaid as an actor. Of course actors get paid based on what they negotiated in their contract, but the fact that someone like LL Cool J gets paid the same amount for NCIS, and he's not even the main star in that show, makes my stomach sick.
Although I think we probably all agree that Mr. Spader is deserving of much higher salaries for the roles he takes, I think it's part of his charm and charisma that he doesn't really seem to care too much about it! If he were some big -name -sellout, I don't think he would take near as interesting of roles, as what he does. Voted the "most eccentric" or"strangest man on television", seems to make him the happiest, and I for one, am glad!

They forgot White Palace with Susan Sarandon. (1990) Great movie and James was pretty damn sexy in it. He and Susan had great chemistry. Less Than Zero is a favorite of mine too. His honesty is refreshing. ❤️

It's like the point is to break every single moral and ethical rule, but in the context of overwhelmingly justifiable circumstances. Pure nihilism. Definitely great writing and acting.The production values are top notch on par with any motion picture.

He was amazing in Jacks Back 1988, one of my favorite movies and I had the pleasure of meeting him and he was so cool, nice and dow to earth and his voice is just magic. What a talent. Always loved his performances.
