I imagine that the trail must be muddy almost all through the year; it's an island in the middle of the sea.... Everythibg is kept wet! Wear crampons / cleats for traction? Good to know to observe that your hike was so dangerous! Haaa - since your hike was almost ~ $30 USD, I wonder how much that small coffee was😂

Thank you for the crampons tip! It is good advice. That little coffee was around 40 DKK, about €5 😅
The lighthouse was built in 1927, not 1972.
