So true! If Jesus is first in your life, then you won’t feel this pressure to either be everything to that person or expect that person to be everything you want him or her to be. No human is meant to bear the weight of that oppression or expectation. Only Jesus can. And if the relationship doesn’t work out, you won’t fall apart because Christ has remained number 1 in your life. What timeless wisdom you both share :)

Pray for me please, I left my abusive partner recently and now I'm struggling to support my two boys, 3 and 8 months old.
