As someone who has watched/listened to the porch for a long time, David will certainly be missed by more people than he thinks. God has given him incredible gifts of speaking. God bless you in your next journey.

18:33 The arrogant, cocky jerk “bypasses” the safeguards in a woman’s mind and heart that would otherwise make him unattractive to her. He’s handsome, says all the right things at the right time and of course, makes her laugh. Because the safeguards were subversively bypassed, this fast tracks things to get him what he really wants. Her leaving can either take years or maybe a few weeks but it’s up to her.
If Jesus provides an out for marriage (infidelity) in Matthew 5, then we can’t say that cheating is not a legitimate reason for divorce. Bc at that point the cheater is the one who broke the marriage covenant.
To have a heart ready to forgive anything and everything, is a heart after God's own heart. God meant it to be broken by nothing. Period. That's the heart to have going into a marriage. If both are seeking God that deeply, chances are, nothing like infidelity will ever happen. And I said chances are, not that it won't.

I agree with most with the exception that I need to belong to a church because the leaders will vouch for me later. God is everywhere. I have lived alone (with God) for almost 25 years. Not everyone who goes to church is Godly behind closed doors. I was raised Catholic and went to a Baptist Sunday school from time to time. For a decade, I’d go off/on with a co-worker to their Lutheran church. I later became Christian because I wanted a more one on one relationship with God. Having been exposed to several kinds of Christianity, I’ve seen that each sect has rules they want believers to follow. I just focus on improving the quality of my fruits as well as practicing discernment when evaluating the fruits of a potential partner. I talk with God often. I ask for his advice and praise the blessing of waking up each morning. Marriage and children are blessings and everyone is blessed differently.
You can't just disagree with something that's Biblical, though. You don't need to belong to a Church, but you are called to belong to the church. You need a community of believers in your life because the church is the body of Christ; if you're not in the church then you're not functioning as His body. A hand is useless on its own. If you don't agree, you should go read the book of the Acts; community is vital for a believer because God exists in community, so we can not know him in isolation. ESPECIALLY, if you want to be a Spiritual head of your household. The church is the hands and feet of Christ, who is depending on us to act FOR Him in the world. "It is not good for man to be alone" I'm confident you can find a non-denominational Church or a community of believers in your area who gather to share meals and prayer, or to study the scripture
Does adultery not create biblical grounds for divorce? Matthew 19:9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, *except for sexual immorality*, and marries another, commits adultery.”
@@SpencerTuom if that completely negated the two acknowledgements in Matthew of sexual immorality/ adultery being grounds for biblically justified divorce, the verses in Matthew wouldn't have been specially been worded that way in the first place.
I think it's difficult to discern the best answer for every situation, but when it comes to the old testament law and Jesus' commands overall Jesus calls us to a tighter moral standards not looser. So when looking at a situation there should be a discernment of this call. Not saying that there isn't a place for divorce in some situations but it should be an exception not the rule, even in adultery, and such situations. Not because it's easy but because Jesus has been faithful to us in this very way, as we the church sin and walk away from Him, he never walks away from us His church and bride.
