The account was hacked and subsequently "shut down" by Facebook (after we alerted them of the hack). We have since raised multiple tickets and pleaded with their support team for help but we seem to be getting nowhere. We've tried creating new BMs and ad accounts but these are being shut down after a day or so. At my wits' end. No idea where to turn or what to do. Many thousands of advertising dollars at stake. We don't believe we have violated any policies.

I've maybe watched this video a total of 5 times at different points. We have a disabled ad account and a restricted business ad account. The disabled account was our fault because it was a FB page that wasn't used. However, the restricted business account was new. One day everything was working fine and then later on throughout the week, everything went downhill. Ads were getting rejected one by one. We reached a support person who basically told us that our account was restricted because of ads. We already knew that. We filed a review of our account in July and it's now August. Facebook told us to remove a user from the advertising business page and leave it to just one person. So I did. The next day, they disabled the account so we cannot add anyone else. I fear that if I create ads on Instagram, Facebook will create the connection between the Fb account and the Instagram account and ban it as well. Is there anything else I can do?

The contact support option doesn't pop up. It takes me back to submit a review. I submitted a review and today it gave the option to submit for another review. I've. followed the help options but it says there is nothing else I can do.

Hello, it looks like your page has been restricted for some reason by Facebook. Navigate to the burger menu too left of your screen & find Ad Account Settings. There may be an error message explaining the reasoning behind the restriction.

Please help, I am having an issue I have struggled to find anyone else that has had. My main account (which I’ve had since 2008) has been completely restricted. So includes all Facebook business pages, the reason for this restriction is not for violating any Community standards or running ads at all. The reasons for my restriction, is failing to prove my identification within 30 days of being prompted to when the Professional dashboard was introduced. Hey Charlotte, an ad account disabled for unusual activity is usually fine. You should be able to confirm your identity by uploading your license/passport & within a few days be back up & running. There should be a 'request review' button which will direct you to upload these documents. 👍
@@JordanPlatten I had the same experience where there was no review button and all the ‘verfiy account’ buttons would say ‘something went wrong’ after pressing. The easiest and smoothest solution was to try promoting from the linked Instagram account and following the instructions there. It only took 2 minutes to get everything back to normal.

I did a boost and later an ad. They were both approved and we’re running. Then my account got disabled. I had no idea why. I went to the ad policies and red them all one by one. I did not violate any. I did the appeal and explained that I really didn’t have a clue of what policy could I violated. They replied that my account was disabled for violating the following policies: you have violated the Facebook ad policies. Then they said that they could not reinstate my account because I consistently violated Facebook policies (with only one boost and one ad, spanning around 2 days). They eliminated my account. I could not even go and see the ads or anything. Erased. I can only think it could have been something in my website. But because I don’t know what it is I have no way to fix it. I have nothing dangerous, misleading or false claims (unless they think I do).

Hello, this is very common but unfortunately there is no magic answer for this. Facebook do like to take their time! My best advice is to keep emailing & contacting support until you get it resolved. I would ask to get it escalated too in the hope that it gets pushed through quicker.

Hey i had to confirm my identity, sent a clear high resolution photo of my entire government ID, and facebook rejected my ID verification... any reason why this happened? it says i have to confirm my ID first before i can request review but i dont know how to further confirm my ID

So my campaign was running smoothly and all of a sudden every day for a few weeks now FB is disabling my ad account every day for spending limits. They are telling me that any day it will be lifted , but it just keeps disabling every day. Since this has started my conversions have dropped off considerably. Is it possible that the disabling and reenableing every day is effecting the algorithm and hurting my campaign?

Please help, I am having an issue I have struggled to find anyone else that has had.
My main account (which I’ve had since 2008) has been completely restricted. So includes all Facebook business pages, the reason for this restriction is not for violating any Community standards or running ads at all.
The reasons for my restriction, is failing to prove my identification within 30 days of being prompted to when the Professional dashboard was introduced. I have since become Mega verified, so my identification has been confirmed. However the restrictions stay in place and says “this is our final decision” this is ridiculous. I have never run an ad or violated their community standards, with no option to request a review.
Please any help with this, or know what to do?

okay here's a grand question for you. My ads accounts has been disabled for probably a decade. long story short, my buddy did affiliate marketing while we were in college and borrowed my account..and well, never been able to get it back. (tried like 10x) Here's where it gets trickier. I tried to take time off of Facebook personally just a few years ago and delete my personal account. When I did that , it took me off of my business page as admin and made a business manager account the admin (that I didn't have access to) ...it's been a pain in the arse!!! This also hurts because instagram and Shopify requires for the most part a Facebook page to run good ads.

Facebook is good at this, this did this to me for eight months straight at $42 at a time. My add account is disable so it’s not for advertising. I tried contacting them, no reply in the end I had to close my bank account. I wonder how many millions per year they are scamming off of people.

It's so frustrating. I just signed up to run my first ads and I'm already disabled. I'm only showing my right arm on my ad so I think the algorithm detected my skin.

So we have restricted your ad account. also on my ads it says: Ads for this page are no longer allowed on Facebook because its advertising goes against our Misleading Claims policy. Hey Charlotte, an ad account disabled for unusual activity is usually fine. You should be able to confirm your identity by uploading your license/passport & within a few days be back up & running. There should be a 'request review' button which will direct you to upload these documents. 👍
@@JordanPlatten I had the same experience where there was no review button and all the ‘verfiy account’ buttons would say ‘something went wrong’ after pressing. The easiest and smoothest solution was to try promoting from the linked Instagram account and following the instructions there. It only took 2 minutes to get everything back to normal.

What if you can’t appeal ?
I did a boost and later an ad. They were both approved and we’re running. Then my account got disabled. I had no idea why. I went to the ad policies and red them all one by one. I did not violate any. I did the appeal and explained that I really didn’t have a clue of what policy could I violated. They replied that my account was disabled for violating the following policies: you have violated the Facebook ad policies. Then they said that they could not reinstate my account because I consistently violated Facebook policies (with only one boost and one ad, spanning around 2 days). They eliminated my account. I could not even go and see the ads or anything. Erased. I can only think it could have been something in my website. But because I don’t know what it is I have no way to fix it. I have nothing dangerous, misleading or false claims (unless they think I do).

It's my first time trying an ad on instagram and I got my ad account disabled. I don't see anything offensive or against their rules in my ad, I'm just trying to boost a post. They sent me an email with a link - 'URGENT: Your ad account is disabled from advertising' but when I click on the link to resolve the issue I just get an error message. Now I'm stuck. ☹

Hello, this is very common but unfortunately there is no magic answer for this. Facebook do like to take their time! My best advice is to keep emailing & contacting support until you get it resolved. I would ask to get it escalated too in the hope that it gets pushed through quicker.
