I got my ad account disabled. And I really don’t understand why, I’ve only posted 2 ads they both got approved, I stopped putting ads after those two for like a month and tried logging back in to my business manager to get hit with a ban, at the time I got banned I wasn’t running ads or anything I just got banned for literal no reason. Can someone help me? I really don’t know why I got banned, Facebook asked for my ID and I sent it to them and I’m supposed to get my identity approved before requesting a review
I have facebook account since 2011, I made a business manager , they asked for my passport , I send them a picture and they banned me out of nowhere permanently. :D
Hello ben, my personal ads account got disabled without even running ads on it, what should I do. because its banned I dont have a admin access in bm so I can't do a thing.
CONTENT REQUEST: Ok please please please make a video on how to read other Facebook data metrics to determine where purchases are coming from. I can't rely on purchases, CPR, PCV, or ROAS metrics on facebook anymore it's not accurate. I am trying to figure out what other metrics i can use and analyze to determine if the adset is actually getting me sales. I am running several tests and have had a lot of sales today already and it's showing 20 i have almost 50. I can't tell which adsets are working the best which is frustrating the heck outta me. I don't want to turn them all off and just do one at a time - if i don't have another way of determining which adset is working then i might have to turn it all off and just do one every 3 days but that's going to hit my bottom line for the month badly. I can't keep them all on because they are all targeting the exact same thing the only difference is the optimization event. Eventually I'll outbid myself so i need to figure out which one is fire.
Hi Ben. Sorry for the post not about the topic. Recently I got messages in event manager saying that external_id parameter from server does not match with the pixel (we are on shopify). The pixel was not changed. Shopify say that it looks good on their side. I have contacted FB...but they very often tend not to reply at all. Maybe you have any advices in this matter?
Mine was recently disabled, about 4 days ago. I had to submit my ID, did so, then they declined it. I had to end up chatting with someone live and within 24 hours, it was enabled again... For some reason, I had to reupload my html thing to verify my website, why? I don't know. To make a long story short, I had to end up recreating/or dubbing my existing ads and use the "new" conversions. I wouldn't take my exising pixel altho I could see them. I had to end up "recreating" the pixel the new "ID", if that make anysense... Overral I still have my main account. I am not sure how this will effect it though... I guess FB will still kknow my "history" and what a conversion etc, is and won't have to "relearn" everything....
Hi Ben, thank you so much. How do you get the boxes ‘deep link to website’ and deep link destination boxes to appear. I am a singer and it would be great to send people direct to Spotify?
Hi my facebook ad account got restricted tried account review for few time still in review for many days. Don't now what to do . Help me on this thanks
Is there a possibility to have your ad disapproved because there is a pop up on the destination page? If the ad ends on a blog page and there is a pop up?
Thanks! Question about step # 5 - If it is a new account, can we start spending as much as possible from the beginning? They're not gonna ban it because of that?
You won't get banned but Facebook does put spending limits on new ad accounts. I've got more info about that here: th-cam.com/video/mrWicZiiaHY/w-d-xo.html
Hi Ben, thanks for the value. I've got a question please : if a Business Manager already verified with a company documents was permanently restricted. Do you think I can start a new BM (new domain, new store/creatives...) and verify it with the same company ? or it's likely it will get flagged as well ?
Love your content, Ben! I always hear about people getting their ad accounts shut down when traveling. Is there any concrete data on this? Seems a bit absurd to expect people to not use their ad account while traveling when they're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars a day in ad spend.
Hi Alex, like a lot of people I haven't travelled in a while so can't speak to this personally but it is something I would be concerned about. Particularly if you haven't got much account history.
@@zizicario I don't know anyone who's done this, but a possible workaround might be using a VPS and accessing your ad account through a remote desktop. The server would have to be very close to your current location though.
Hey Ben...thanks for the video!. Quick question..what you do when it comes to Business manager verification? I know it is not mandatory initially, but recently my BM got disabled coz it was not verified. I can't get it verified coz my business does not have a physical location for an office. Have you ever faced such a situation?
@@BenHeath ya I could..but the verification requires a whole load of documentation. ...Do you have any video on business verification or Domain verification...or will you be doing it in the future?..Anyway thanks for the quick reply !
Hi Ben! Great video, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this matter. Super important. I hope you could share your thoughts and expertise as well comparing FB ads vs google ads especially for e-commerce now that the IOS update crippled a lot of FB advertisers. Thanks so much!
What if the bold claim is absolutely accurate, for example, if a doctor recommends something and FB goes against what that doctor is saying? Does FB think they have a legal right to do that? Policy of a company doesn't mean they can break the law.
I have seen many scenarios where the bold claim is true but the ad still gets disapproved. It’s not how I would do things but so much of this is handled by AI
Hi Ben, any possibility of a video based on Lead Guru's history and growth? As someone looking to start an agency of my own someday, i'd love to hear the success story of your agency over the years. Even your own personal journey in Facebook advertising would be great. Cheers Ben!
My additions: launching ads too quickly at the beginning. If it’s your first campaign in a new ad account, eod per conversion ad is safe to start. Helps to get the budget up anyway and show gaining a little “trust” for Facebook with the ads running. If they see an expert marketer starting out, they tend to look with a little more scrutiny thinking they’ve potentially disabled one from you prior. Budget too high for all combined conversions based on total ad account spend. >30% of the total ad account spend on a daily basis spent on conversions Increasing the budget by too high of a % that is outside of what Facebook finds appropriate action
Thanks for this Ben! I have a question on an issue that's giving me a headache... How can I optimize my ads for Purchases if my biz is not verified? I can't find that option now and I'm afraid I would be wasting my money if I start running ads without purchase optimization. (I have my whole strategy planned based on purchase events and was just about to start running) Appreciate the help!
Don't get too many ads disapproved. Make sure you abide by FB advertising polocies. Introduce new ads slowly and make sure they're approved before adding more. Avoid obvious attention grabbing tactics. Be careful with bold claims. Bold claims around health are risky. Introduce eight or so ads where only one has a bold claim to test. Spend as much as you possibly can because you get better treatment in not getting your account disabled.
If only it was that simple. I got banned multiple times before doing anything. Got it all sorted then started running ads for a week then got permanently banned and never had an ad rejected. All I can think is because I had a vpn on.
thank you very much for your great content, please could help me, I am a real estate promoter, how to do a FACEBOOK ADS advertisement to generate qualified leads and not curious thank you very much
I’ve been running the same approved ads for a year now and my account got disabled after I changed the age range of 1 ad set (5 ads), to do a split test. After 20 days of waiting for a “review”, they permanently disabled my account for “Disruptive Content.” I was getting 20 leads a day at $12 a day with that account, now I gotta start over. You know why this would happen?
Hi Joey, Facebook did not like whatever you had in your ads - if they reviewed and banned your account then your ads must have violated policies. They are really cracking down on disruptive content.
@@BenHeath Thanks for the response, Ben! I'm just wondering why if they didn't like them, why were they approving them for a whole year? Such a bummer, I wish they had specified! Great video Ben! I have been trying to get my account back after it was disabled. After I was running ads successfully for a couple of weeks, I made no changes to the Ads during this time so I did nothing wrong ad wise but I forgot to transfer money onto the card I was using to pay for my ads even though I made the other payments on time. Would this cause the account to be disabled? They said suspicious activity?
Thanks for watching guys! Let me know what you think in the comments :)
