I live in an area that gets crazy weather every year at this time… 3-4 seasons in a day. I know the song is not literally about the weather, but I still find myself humming this song as soon as someone says "we got all 4 seasons today" :). Today was one of those days which brought me here to this video again.
Then I turn on "weather with you" remembering we are responsible for our own "climate" in every situation. Including annoying strange weather days that spoil plans.
right here in Australia in my country and yep still loving it in 2020 during the COVID-19 outbreak

There is a quiet, majestic wisdom in the work of the Finn/SE/CH family. Since I first heard "Six Months" from the Split Enz in 1985 to solo works and various projects, there have been so many apt turns of phrase in the lyrics that have gone the spectrum from validating wonder to offering the sweetest of shared solace and embracing observations. TYSVM!!
Don’t know why so many comments say Neil is underrated. He’s not, he’s very highly highly rated and will go down as one of the greats.

Because people on the internet say everything is underrated, even when it's not. I agree though. He is very highly rated and is one of NZ's best musicians along with his brother Tim.

Actually the song speaks about the weather in New Zealand. Because you can enter a shop while the sun is shining brightly, when you exit the shop, the sky is filled with grey clouds, and it has started to drizzle. By the time you get to your car there is an ice-cold wind blowing. "Like Four Seasons In One Day".

Went to the Crowded House Concert a few weeks ago (March 2021) at Spark Arena. It is hard to put into words how awesome it was. If anything Neil Finn's voice has gotten stronger and richer with age. Touring with Fleetwood Mac probably didn't hurt either, but it was really meaningful to be there especially being able to attend something like that during COVID.
This song is always relevant, no matter the times. But for me, as an American, it means even more to me, as I watch my country go down the tubes.

I just saw Crowded House two nights ago in Mesa Arizona, and I can honestly say that that was the best concert that I have ever attended! Neil and his band were in absolutely fine form! Is Crowded House in the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame? If not, why not? Have a great tour, Mates!
