Hello, all. If anyone sees this before it gets buried by other comments, I just wanted to make a shout out to everyone that's helping keep art alive.
I feel that I'm personally providing culture, peace and inspiration to people with this piece. A civilization that will pour hours, days (my counter says that a total of 711 years, 321 days have been spent watching this video) into appreciating art is a civilization I can have faith in! Think about this -- my video alone has probably had four times the listening-time to audiences than the last three hundred years have seen, period. This way, Vivaldi's music is not only not dying, it is actually MASSIVELY growing in popularity! I feel wonderful that I can honour a master like him with a gift like this :) And every one of you is contributing to that.

I personally think I was born in the right generation. I mean come on, I
live in a time when I can pull up any classical work I want and listen
to it as much as I want, and can even rewind, forward, and pause it.
That's so cool when you think about it. This may not be the kind of
music most people listen to, but if you appreciate classical music, this
is actually a great time to be alive. You can find pretty much any
musical work you want on the Internet regardless of musical time period,
composer, or ensemble type. And that's a recent thing too; a lot of you
probably remember a time when that wasn't possible. This particular
video hasn't even been up five years yet! I see a lot of comments about
being from the wrong generation and such, but think about it...Back in
the day, you wouldn't be able to just pull up your favorite piece in
your own home and listen to it as much as you want. You would have to
wait until a symphony near you chose to perform your favorite piece. If
you truly love classical music, or any music for that matter, this is a
fantastic time to be around, whether you know it or not!

Adalard Richter Obviously, but they're still dumb for:
      1. Being pedantic and close-minded about their music taste. Believe it or not, there's a lot of good music in all genres, but even if you have limited music taste, don't go around acting like that makes you dtand above the other people in your generation.
      2. Not realizing that the only reason they can listen to this music so easily and post their shitty comment for others to see is because they live in this time.

Winter Allegro Non Molto is my absolute favorite. It used to play in my moms house all the time while she was reading and I was rehearsing percussion and running mallet rudiments. And yeah, this is very metal. Vivaldi clearly strived his first chairs to lead. This, Beethoven's 7th, and Mozart's Requiem are very metal to me.

Remember kids, if you create something truly brilliant and it is ignored by your contemporaries that doesn't mean you will be forgotten forever. Vivaldi was totally ignored by his peers and the public when he was alive. Centuries later his music was rediscovered and is now among the most popular in the world. As long as we will have western civilization his name will be remembered.

"The Jews" are not a monolith and do not even have a central organization to which all of them belong. And I have yet to meet a Jew (I've known quite a few throughout my life) that showed the slightest interest in destroying western civilization. So the questions you should ask yourself are which specific individuals are trying to "take it all down"', why, and how do you know? I'm fairly certain that the supposed conspirators didn't confide their plans to you.

    00:01 - Spring Allegro - 1st Movement
This movement is an energetic, joyful celebration of the arrival of spring. The bright, lively music is meant to evoke images of nature waking up after winter, with birds singing, brooks babbling, and gentle breezes.
    03:39 - Spring Largo - 2nd Movement
The second movement is a more peaceful, serene expression of spring. It is meant to represent a sleepy goatherd with his faithful dog lying at his feet. This movement often uses slower tempos and longer note values to create a calm, dreamy atmosphere.
    06:02 - Spring Allegro Pastorale - 3rd Movement
The final movement of "Spring" is a festive dance music, representing a pastoral dance by shepherds and nymphs celebrating the arrival of spring. The allegro tempo and the lilting rhythm of the music creates a feeling of happiness and celebration.
    10:30 - Summer Allegro - 4th Movement
The first movement of "Summer" is an intense depiction of a hot, oppressive summer day. There are musical illustrations of a singing turtledove, a gentle zephyr breeze, and the harsh wind of the summer storm.
    15:52 - Summer Adagio e Presto - 5th Movement
This movement describes the oppressive heat and the exhaustion it brings. The music alternates between slow (Adagio) and fast (Presto) tempos, representing the calm before the storm and the storm itself respectively.
    17:56 - Summer Presto - 6th Movement
The final movement of "Summer" depicts a fierce summer storm with all of its dramatic, violent energy. It is a fast-paced, dynamic music full of rapid scales and arpeggios.
    20:59 - Autumn Allegro - 7th Movement
The first movement of "Autumn" depicts the joy of the peasant with their rich harvest and their celebratory dances and songs. It is a merry, upbeat music full of energy and high spirits.
    26:21 - Autumn Adagio Molto - 8th Movement
This movement represents the sleeping peasants after their celebrations. The music is slow and gentle, evoking a sense of peace and relaxation.
    29:07 - Autumn Allegro - 9th Movement
The final movement of "Autumn" depicts a hunt complete with horns, dogs barking, and even a gunshot. It's a more vigorous, fast-paced section to conclude the concerto.
    32:48 - Winter Allegro Non Molto - 10th Movement
The first movement of "Winter" represents a harsh winter storm. Despite the challenges of the cold weather, there's a sense of delight in the beauty of the snowy landscape. The music is energetic but with a slightly slower tempo (Allegro Non Molto).
    36:17 - Winter Largo - 11th Movement
The second movement of "Winter" depicts the peace that comes after the storm. The music is slow and gentle, suggesting images of falling snow and the quiet of a winter evening.
    38:36 - Winter Allegro - 12th Movement
The final movement of "Winter" is a lively representation of walking on ice, ending with the warmth of a cozy fire. It's energetic, almost dancing music, finishing the entire work on a high note.

Even worse than that. 400 years ago, 99% of the people would never hear this. Only aristocrats could afford the major sums of money to attend symphony orchestra concerts because of the high cost of feeding dozens of musicians in those days prior to the Agricultural Revolution, and while they might see something like this multiple times over their lifetime, the remainder of the peasantry was stuck with folk music they could make themselves on primitive string instruments, flute, or whistle. There's a *reason* why modern popular music is largely based upon African music rather than upon European classical music, with only a leavening of European folk music thrown in (mostly seen in genres like bluegrass that lack drums, a primary ingredient of African music that didn't exist in European folk music). European classical music simply was too expensive for the common folk to see, so they never incorporated it into popular music.

I highly suggest you to listen to this masterpiece, while reading Vivaldi's poems. Those poems were written specifically for this piece.
    La Primavera (Spring)
    I. Allegro--
    Festive Spring has arrived,
The birds salute it with their happy song.
And the brooks, caressed by little Zephyrs,
    Flow with a sweet murmur.
The sky is covered with a black mantle,
And thunder, and lightning, announce a storm.
When they are silent, the birds
Return to sing their lovely song.
    II. Largo e pianissimo sempre--
And in the meadow, rich with flowers,
To the sweet murmur of leaves and plants,
The goatherd sleeps, with his faithful dog at his side.
    III. Danza pastorale. Allegro--
To the festive sound of pastoral bagpipes,
    Dance nymphs and shepherds,
    At Spring's brilliant appearance.
    L'Estate (Summer)
    Opus 8, No. 2, in G minor
    I. Allegro non molto--
Under the heat of the burning summer sun,
Languish man and flock; the pine is parched.
The cuckoo finds its voice, and suddenly,
    The turtledove and goldfinch sing.
    A gentle breeze blows,
But suddenly, the north wind appears.
    The shepherd weeps because, overhead,
Lies the fierce storm, and his destiny.
    II. Adagio; Presto--
His tired limbs are deprived of rest
By his fear of lightning and fierce thunder,
And by furious swarms of flies and hornets.
    III. Presto--
Alas, how just are his fears,
Thunder and lightening fill the Heavens, and the hail
Slices the tops of the corn and other grain.
    L'Autunno (Autumn)
    Opus 8, No. 3, in F Major
    I. Allegro--
The peasants celebrate with dance and song,
The joy of a rich harvest.
    And, full of Bacchus's liquor,
They finish their celebration with sleep.
    II. Adagio molto--
Each peasant ceases his dance and song.
    The mild air gives pleasure,
    And the season invites many
    To enjoy a sweet slumber.
    III. Allegro--
The hunters, at the break of dawn, go to the hunt.
With horns, guns, and dogs they are off,
The beast flees, and they follow its trail.
Already fearful and exhausted by the great noise,
Of guns and dogs, and wounded,
The exhausted beast tries to flee, but dies.
    L'Inverno (Winter)
    Opus 8, No. 4, in F minor
    I. Allegro non molto--
Frozen and trembling in the icy snow,
In the severe blast of the horrible wind,
As we run, we constantly stamp our feet,
And our teeth chatter in the cold.
    II. Largo--
To spend happy and quiet days near the fire,
While, outside, the rain soaks hundreds.
    III. Allegro--
We walk on the ice with slow steps,
And tread carefully, for fear of falling.
Symphony, If we go quickly, we slip and fall to the ground.
Again we run on the ice,
    Until it cracks and opens.
    We hear, from closed doors,
Sirocco, Boreas, and all the winds in battle.
This is winter, but it brings joy.
