The idea to use the jumpers for XLR is actually a great idea. I would say if you ever re-do the board, use temple audio. They make modules for XLR out on the sides. Prolly what I will do with mine.
@@synonyx I wanted to go with a temple board, but I chose not to for budget reasons. If I ever need to upgrade to something bigger or just make a different board altogether, then I will definitely be going that route.
Heyhey great video! How is you expierience with the vocals via the Quad Cortex? I‘m thinking of selling my Boss VE-500 and only using the Quad Cortex (since the new update 3.0 it also has Pitch-Correction) but I feel the Unit would be a bit limited then… Your expierience would help us out a lot ✌🏽
So you're throwing the vocal mic signal through your Quad Cortex before sending it back to the house? What are you throwing on your vox channel for fx? Great vid.
@@owenkinser6626 Appreciate it, I believe my chain goes noise, gate, chorus, pitch shifter, reverb, then EQ. Might be a little different than that, but it's close.
Man ditch the Velcro pads and get some 3M dual lock TB3550. It’s a million times better and the adhesive won’t peel off the bottom of the pedals easily. Also, drill holes and screw mount the DC7 and Crux. I’ve learned these from my own gigging lessons and I also never use zip ties. If I need to anchor something round like a cable, I’ll use Velcro straps so if I need to mess with something, I don’t need to get cable cutters and can quickly re-strap the Velcro.

Thanks for making this!
Thanks for watching 💪🏻
Do I know anything about guitars or pedalboards? No. Did I watch this whole video like I was about to assemble one? Yes.
I love that🤘🏻
Hey Kenny, very nice video, I appreciate this kind of content. Hope you're having great shows!
hey my friend, never knew you had a YT channel!

Very smart board design and should make your setups and teardowns a breeze.
Just got back from tour. Couldn't have worked better!

@@karimfiechter7290 works great for me. Just makes the front of house guys job a little easier and I can add effect to my voice if I want

@@KennyGraves_add a noise gate to kill the idle stage volume. I’m still dialing in the settings on mine but it’s working pretty nicely so far.

You need Cioks grip 2.0 specific for pedal trains and dc7 brah
NO drill mount for dc7 specific to pedal train
I'll look into it 💪🏻
lol this doesnt qualify as a pedalboard this a modelboard
