Chef Paul: hopefully it works me: **knows it will work** me: **watches the video** idea works me: yay big surprise, it's chef paul, of course, it will work
I made this yesterday, and it was really good. The cake itself has a wonderful, light texture, and is delicious, but not too sweet. The flavor is perfect with some whipped cream. When fully assembled, you can taste the milk well, and the flavors of each ingredient mix really well. I definitely recommend this cake. I ended up with 30 to 40 cake pops using the ingredients in the description. Here are some tips for making them: My cake fully cooked in about 15 minutes at 375 degrees F, so definitely keep an eye on it. The cake pops did not hold together while adding the dulce de leche, so I froze it before and after coating them. Then I covered it in chocolate and let it cool at room temperature. I had way too much tres leches with 3 cups (I might have only used 1 or 2 cups), and nowhere near enough dulce de leche and white chocolate. I recommend actually making two or three cans of dulce de leche (since I didn't make enough) and getting maybe 25 to 30 ounces of white chocolate.
"They will explode" Yep, I fell asleep with the cans in the water... woke up to a large expulsion sound... person downstairs was convinced I was making a bomb and messed up. I tried explaining that I fell asleep making caramel, he insisted caramel does not do that and was thinking of calling the cops..... As long as you did not scrape the bottom of the cans, it was tasty though.
Maybe next time, as a way to combat the leaking milk, cover the bottom part of the cake pop along with a bit of the stick with that white cream frosting stuff so that way it sort of "seals" off the exit for the milk. Maybe if you do that there will be no leaks and it'll be a cleaner and better experience. Just an idea :)
Tres leche cake is probably one of my favorite desserts all time. There’s only one restaurant in my city that makes it, and they haven’t been able to add it back to the menu because of quarantine. Thank you so much for making this video! I’m gonna try to make this as soon as I can.

From the previous video i commented for a Rindo dish, but i just remembered that all of Rindo-senpai's dish have a rare ingridient. So... goodluck and hope it happens😁😁😁
That would probably be way too expensive of a dish though and not something everybody would be able to come by, most the times Chef PK just wants to make something everyone can do at home as well I believe.

Just in case, I would put a grid on the bottom of the pot so the cans of condensed milk do not directly touch the bottom of the pot. Also, we noticed you wifu taking a discarded can of dulce de leche !
If there's anything I learned when cooking those supper noodles(the ones that are 4 for 5$) is that you never leave milk alone. That stuff will spill over when your not looking and it will happen instantaneous. We have something in the family where it goes graham crackers bottom, spread some deulch top with whip cream and repeat until you get your desired height, wait 24 hours in a fridge or cold storage room and top it with something. We always go cherry or strawberry. The red just pop's on top the white whip cream.
For the condensed milk cans you can put then in the pressure cook and have an amazing result, just do the same, water enough to cover the cans and cook it for 40 minutes
Pk in Brazil we do that dulce de leche or " doce de leite" in a pressure cooker, It takes about 30 min to bem ready, and.. yes It is safe, i did more than a 100 times, a good hint its to squeeze some lemon or vinager in the water so u dont end up with stains in the pot.
