I've seen other videos. You skipped a few steps. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. You gave us the basic info we needed. There are some videos that does it step by step. I do understand some people may need it step by step. All the videos teach us if we have never done it. Great comments folks. Good video C8

Besides the hesitation at start up what else made you go ahead and switch the fuel tank? Any specific warning signs? I’m thinking it’s that time for mine to be done. I don’t have the miles on it but I do have the years and it’s actually stopped on me a couple times in the last few weeks.
Just asking mines A year and some change but left me stranded... Sounded like it was Going to START UP but didn't Never Catch... did yours? It's been cranking now tho
@@nestle68 mine cranks right up but when it decides it’s going to die, it does just that. I’m getting the parts ordered to make that change now. Never left me stranded but to shutdown on the highway in Texas is quite dangerous.
I tried to watch your video carefully and saw that the fuel pump module electrical connection was originally pointing toward the 8:00 position. After the replacement was installed it looked to be just past the 9:00 position. I always like to make a mark or a careful read of the positioning before removal so when I reinstall the fuel sending unit float will be in the correct location. Am I seeing something different due to the change in camera angle or is the pump misaligned?

I appreciate your channel but you didn't show how you removed the panel to access the fuel pump, how to remove the high pressure fuel line and how to deal with any residual fuel pressure in the fuel line during disassembly. How you removed the fuel pump retaining ring and the tool you used to remove it, how you installed and positioned the new fuel pump with a new seal correctly in the fuel tank and how tight the retaining ring should be after replacement. I'm glad you accomplished this repair and I hope it solves your issues.
My 2019 Rally recently I can go on like a 30 to 40 minute ride. Come home, let the bike sit for 30 minutes. Get back on it can ride it around 40 mile an hour. Just fine, but when you go to give it gas. It boggs down and starts. Jumping real bad and then all the sudden like it gets a burst of fuel and takes off Have you had any problems like that with your fuel pump? Because I'm thinking that's what's going on with mine, but I'm not sure. I have no lights on the cluster seem it happens after it gets hot it starts hesitation bad when I give it gas
I would like to ask, the fuel pump I purchased does not come with the lower connection plug, what is the purpose of this plug? Can I not install the center plug? Looking forward to your reply, thanks!

Heard a humming sound coming from it too
You don't need to replace the pump to stop the whine. There's a kit to fix it.
Finally someone brought this up I was wondering why not just replace the filter and gasket

Everything seems to be working great! Seems to be properly installed.
