CycleDrag my favorite is the race with the GS 1150. We have a few gs based bikes of our own. Great machines. And that race shows how experience and consistency wins races

It's not the channels fault you boldly assumed a can am could hang with a busa heads up. Bracket racing is just as legitimate and arguably more competitive than heads up racing..
Having a hayabusa this makes me smile
If I had enough of a headstart I could beat Usane Bolt in a foot race...
Might be harder if the headstart was based on a predicted elapsed time and starting line reaction time.. this is called bracket racing, it's all about consistency, and it makes it so the guy with less money can still be competitive.

Been into bikes forever but I’m bored, an old manual clutch spider is like an old muscle car, you run the piss out it of it and do burnouts and it’s only like 110 hp so you can ride it hard and not go 200mph, they are pretty fun

They shouldn’t even give a handicap in drag racing! Your bike is either fast enough to win or it isn’t! If another bike has a handicap and wins it still doesn’t mean that it’s faster so what’s the use!

I did trackdays occasionally on my Spyder.
But wait...the spyder took off a half hour before the Bus!!. Handicap racing is ridiculous. Isnt a race to find out who is faster?
Clearly the busa willingly gave her a head start and still won--- Did you really need for someone on the internet to literally explain what you just saw to you?
Bracket racing is how the little guy gets to play. If it was all heads up, most of the time it's going to be the big money operations winning day in , day out. My pockets cant compete with professional operations. Plus, there is more skill brought in to run a staggered tree(without electronics...in cars at least) and have to stick to a dial in.
The way i see it, the little guys should play with each other till they earn the right to play with the big guys. No other sport allows this. You go from high school champion then state, then college then to the pros if your good enough. If you arent, you watch from the stands.

Not as fast when she leaves 3 seconds before the motorcycle. Thats bracket racing.! A Kid on a Big Wheel can leave 60secs before a top fuel dragster and they both will cross the finish line almost the same time. The rail @350 mph and the big wheel @ 1/2 mph. (But it was a close finish) 🤔🤣

Ya. Its definitely less of a spectator sport than any heads up racing. But it is fun to be involved in. I like bracket racing anything. Its fun to chase someone down and also fun to make them sit there and wait. But , understandably it's not for everyone

It's not that bad makes for interesting match ups and pushes riders to improve on their own times for the edge if nobody is sand bagging at least.
Lame, there is no legit comparison when you give such long delays between the bikes. With a long enough delay, a skateboard could beat a hayabusa.

How the hell did that grom win the first round? 4:54, The grom did a 22.188/21.18 that's just over a sec. The harley did a 14.918/14.47 that's less than 1/2 sec over??? WTF

The grom was 22.18 on 21.80, not 21.18 Thats only .38 over dial in. The other was .44 over the dial in.
